  • Went in Store earlier to pick up the phone as I knew it must be ready. Simple question asked. Plan was already cancelled few days back. Receipt says 512gb but price stays same as 256gb.
    Hope this helps.

    • Wow..thats fantastic. what amount does the receipt show?

      • Invoice shows the complete amount $2197 and roughly $199.72 as GST

    • Have you received the contract cancellation repayment invoice. I was told in store that it would be $1600, and they crossed out on the contract papers and replaced $800 with $1600 when confirming with me.

    • Did TGG call you as they told so during sign up, or did you just walk in based on your (ultra) instinct?

I'm running out of patience waiting for their call but not want to waste time to get to store.

  • Hey I ordered 2 phones and cancelled the plan. I can confirm that the cancellation fee is only up to a maximum of $800.

Also another question - I tried to enter the gift card on their website but could only redeem one per account? Does anyone know a work around this?

  • May I know where do you guys put in the claims for the TGG's GC? Thanks - what's the link?

  • I did … but which info do we use? The date on the original Order docket? or the pickup re-printed Date? Anyway I tried all combinations but I can't get get through - might have to go back to TGG … I just picked up mine today.

    • Take that back … I just realised the original Order Docket # is different from the Invoice Docket # … all good now :)

      • I chat online with TGG and they gave me Original docket number and date.
        Cheers

  • Tried this myself. Ended up paying 1362.59 for the S24 Ultra 512GB (1TB).

    2397 (S24U) - 1600 (Deal) + 99 (Plan) + 766.59 (Voucher Repayment Fee [YMMV]) - 300 (TGG GC)

    All in all, solid.

    Edit**
For anyone wondering, cancelled the plan after receiving and cashing in TGG GC. Did it over the phone and was sent the VRF bill via email.

    • Excellent, I am just waiting to be told when I can collect mine. My approach is the same, I will cancel after collecting. Did you have to wait much to collect the phone?

      • +1

Had ordered it on the 20th of Jan and picked it up on the 1st of Feb.

I was able to track it through the original sms link. They didnt contact me to collect the phone even after it was ready to collect as per the link.

        • Thanks for that. I did not even bother with the first SMS which I received while doing the paperwork at the store. "To finalise the payment click the link: blahblahblah". Well that turns out to be the link to check the status of the order. It's ready for collection now. Hey, I am not going to complain, it's probably because of these hiccups that we can land this deal :)

Edit: I can also confirm that this links to a digital invoice which lists double the memory. It's all looking good so far.

    Picked up my S24U today.

Cancelled the plan a couple of days ago.

Used the Original Docket for the $300 E-gift card today and received it in about 15 minutes.

    Plan Termination fee is $766.59

    • Thank for the update

    • hi, how do you claim the gift card?

    • I am having issues claiming the e-gift card. I think their online system is a bit rough around the edges. It appeared once after entering the docket number and date, but they asked me to sign-up to have a TGG account. So I did, but now the system no longer recognises the docket as having an e-gift card attached to it. Joy. I will have to go to the store.
The docket number that was recognised was the first one provided. The one I got after collecting the phone did not. Also if you try to get a digital invoice there will be yet another docket no on that as well… A bit worrying.

      • The gift card was in my Junk inbox. The website is indeed buggy and they are aware of it. Telstra also confirmed 766.59 as cancellation fee will be in the next bill.

  • LOL. For any of my comments on this thread where I thought they'd adjust the voucher repayment fee…. I stand corrected
