Seems like multiple retailers have this monitor on sale for this price so might be better purchasing elsewhere for cheaper delivery. Also saw they have the 28 inch version on sale for $699.

I would advise to check the comments in this thread out, I've heard a lot about bad QC from Samsung so I'd buy through a retailer you trust if you're worried about this just in case you do get a bad one.

Good alternative if you want something curved, it's VA but in my experience MSI VA panels have been impressive

  • Can't wait for the Samsung 32" 4K OLED. Gotta save some pennies for that one though.

  • I struggle to recommend these monitors, not sure if anything else has had the same experience, but I have an Odyssey G6 and the monitor UI is atrocious. It rarely turns on automatically with the computer, is loaded with a bunch of smart tv bs and takes a good while to turn on if it manages to at all. The displays themselves are great, but won't ever be buying a samsung monitor again.

    • I have the Samsung G7 32" and absolutely love it. For gaming I wouldn't buy anything else except maybe for the new Samsung OLED.

I had a couple of Samsungs, forget the numbers now. There's no question the images are good, but the firmware was so shocking I ended up noping out.
If you can live with a screen that needs the power plug pulling out daily, and fails to switch sources then go for it.
