just weren't that popular in Australia (must be a Euro thing?), my work sold bugger all of them, Miele were nice enough to take the unsold stock back…
This model was stocked by several other retailers, however most have now sold out. There is nothing wrong with this model whatsoever, it is simply an end-of-life model that needs to be cleared to make room for new stock.

not sure how this would compare to a Dyson..
Miele are up there with Dyson generally, but I find this style of vacuum much harder to use than the barrel style.
We have had a Miele model Cat and dog for 5 yrs. They are the best vacuum cleaners around. Dysons do lose suction. These don't.
why aren't other retailers stocking this model? is there something wrong with it?
