    Remember - never preorder. Also keep in mind that previous chipolo tags took many months to be sent. Same excuse as this time - "waiting for google to update their Find My Device network".

    It's not Chipolo's fault. Google decided to wait until also iOS supported a tracker alert for unknown trackers and mainly Apple and Google had to come up with a standard protocol for this.

    The first version of this standard was released just before christmas, so there is hope that Apple will implement it into iOS soonish and from the on Google should put live the tracker function and may also release their own tracker.

        Ok, they could have stopped taking preorders.

        But at the time the whole thing was announced it did not sound like Google would delay it by a year. And as already 3rd party trackers were announced and on presale, I guess also Google had told them to be ready.

    They never send anything. Only lame excuses. Pre-ordered more than a year ago from another deal posted here. They just took your money and sit on them. Great business model. I am sure they will happily return you the money a year later, once you get pi**ed off, imagine they interest revenue.
    Yes, could be worse, collect all the money and then bankrupt the company. Even better revenue for them.

    Can't recommend this at all.
    I think I've been on pre-order for 6months and they keep saying we are waiting on Google who are waiting on Apple.

    2025 launch probably.

    I don't think this will be released at least for a couple of months. It will basically be unobtainable for while. You're better off buy the 4 pack of Air Tags or Samsung tags which are similarly priced to this as it is actually obtainable.

    I've been waiting for a pre-order I placed on these almost a year ago. It has been handled so poorly. Chipolo should have refunded everyone rather than hold onto everyone's money indefinitely.

    This "deal" definitely shouldn't be up and Chipolo should not be allowed to be taking pre-orders for something that has no clear possibility of being finalised.

      That is why I like Amazon business model. They don't charge you until they actually ship the product.
      I can even understand some companies who uses your money to purchase the good from an actual supplier/manufacturer. But almost a year - this is just a robbery at the daylight.
