Ferrari Watches Any Good. 75% off

Hey guys and girls
I am looking for a new dress watch to wear as I want to wear something else when I got out. I have been wearing a Galaxy 2 watch for about 3 to 4 years. While it is still going strong I don't want to replace it yet with a newer version.

I previously owned a Casio Edifice chrono solar powered. I didn't charge it for almost a year and was not holding charge anymore after exposure to sunlight so I got rid of it.

Been looking at another one but I missed out on all black friday deals at casio Australia however I went past a DFO yesterday and noticed they had Ferrari watches 75% off. Some looked very nice.
I asked the sales guys and they said it was 100% genuine but could not tell me who make them etc. Was a young kid.

Has anyone got a Ferrari watch or had first hand feedback?

Never heard of them but most likely are an overpriced quartz fashion watch.

Maybe have a look at the Seiko Manhattan $389 Delivered @ Starbuy

What sort of prices are we talking?
I believe they’re fashion watches, so you’re mostly paying for the branding. Ferrari themself didn’t make these watches, they simply allow the use of the brand for a fee.
While I don’t think they are bad watches, there’re better options out there for whatever prices you’re looking to pay.
P/s: you mentioned looking for a dress watch, I think the Ferrari range (or any of the sport cars branded watches) are probably more sporty looking than dressy.

    lol $200 watch.

If you're going to spend money on a watch, spend it on a known watch brand. not a car brand for clout

    Do you own a Ferrari?

Would you buy a Rolex car?

If it's anything like the watch, it would be a rebranded "affordable luxury" car with 100% mark up and Rolex logos. I look forward to owning a Hyundai Rolex car.

Casio Edifice chrono solar powered. I didn't charge it for almost a year and was not holding charge anymore after exposure to sunlight so I got rid of it.

Solar watches can take take quite a long time to start charging if they go completely flat. You can also get them repaired - generally just a new battery.

You can look at the fashion watches here and you'll notice the RRPs are inflated and they're often sold well below RRP. They're generally never worth while.

If you're not into automatic/mechanical watches, a citizen eco drive would probably be a good option.

  • The $2.7 million Richard Mille charges for the official Ferrari watch is a little outside most folks' budgets for a watch… ;-)

I'd rather get a Toyota watch.

  • Save your money and buy the Haval of watches

  • Ferrari? As in the car brand?

Ferrari moved to trashy "license the name to any Tom Dick or Harry to make random crap" decades ago. You may as well wear a sign on your back saying "total n00b trying to impress and failing" with Ferrari anything short of an actual car.

Get an inexpensive Orient or something- it would have more conversational cred and less comedy value than a Ferrari watch.

  • The Ferrari watches are so terrible that they make me want to Roma around the world and Portofino them in the bin, or Tributo them to the gods of bad taste, or Stradale them into pieces, or Lusso them to someone who doesn’t care about quality.

This is what they look like

Oh for FXXs fake! The watches are so ugly it makes my Testa Rossa!

    • Thanks, just bought a clear silicone and red silicone one, they looks very classy and so affordable.

am looking for a new dress watch

Then don't get a cheap Ferrari watch.

It's designer trash that poor people wear to make themselves feel like they're rich, same as Gucci etc.

If you want a good dress watch that won't break the bank look at the Seiko presage range

God, these watches are not "stylish"… they are gaudy and tasteless. The moment people look at them, they are not going to think… "oh, nice, a very stylish watch…" What they are going to think is… "Well, looks like someone had been watch shopping at Lavo markets…"

It doesn't matter how expensive a "Ferrari" watch is, they all look like something you are sold by some shady dude working at a flea market stall selling fake shit. If you just want a watch with "Ferrari" all over it, just get on AliExpress and get a $50 one like all the other plebs that want to look like they own a Ferrari, but can only afford a knock off tacky watch.

    • Lavo markets

I went there once and completely understand that reference.

People that can afford Ferraris would never buy a Ferrari watch. That means it's only the wanna-bes that buy these watches.

  • Aside from whether they are good or bad watches, those shops at DFO have those prices and discounts every day of the year. Don't rush to get one because of the big signs they cover the whole shop in. No need for fear of missing out.
