Quite a few are operated by Jetstar.

At least Jetstar's (B787s) are much newer than the Qantas A330s.

Also, Emirates fly MEL - SIN direct for only $700.

      • More legroom on the A330s? and they are getting refurbished apparently

        • +1

          I think Qantas 31" and Jetstar 30".

Out of the two, I've only flown the Qantas and the legroom felt really bad for a long haul, more like 29" that you get on a Jetstar domestic A320.

But the Qantas A330 does have 2-4-2 layout, which gives a couple the chance to sit without any seat neighbours.

Until any refurbishment is completed, these are among the most pitiful full service cabins you'd find on medium-long haul routes in Asia.

@Time has come: I find most airlines have not much legroom anyways, so the service goes a long way (when flying economy). As long as it's not super duper cramped.

Was ok with Qantas Econ, but have mostly flown biz or first the last five or so years. Fair long about other airlines in Asia doing a better job though

      • Younger airframe doesn't mean younger interior.

All of QF's interior were refurbished after Jetstar's planes and from that perspective can be seen as "younger".

        • Noted "younger" in inverted commas. Nothing about Qantas feels younger:)

    • Does Jetstar still stop over in that little shed at Darwin?

I wouldn't fly Qantas anymore. Shifted my businesses to Singapore Airlines or Scoot

      Lolz

    • Dodgy Aussies. Singapore knows how to get it done
Even Singapore based LCC far > Aussie "flagship" Qantas

      • Probably should stop memeing/regurgitating as most people (myself included) review Jetstar to be much better than scoot let alone QF.

    • Definitely not from perth. Qantas doesnt even fly into the international airport. No electronic customs when i landed killed it for me.

      • Tell me about it, getting in at 12:30 am and having to wait in line for another half an hour was hell

    • Thanks for updating us.

I'm sure the next qantas shareholder report will address losing you as their customer

Thanks for your sarcasm! Now I want free return business class from Qantas to make up my mental health hassles

        • ha, took it like a champ : ) & wouldnt that be lovely !

    Qantas? No Thanks.

  • Qantas SG -> BRS is red eye. Only 1 option daily.

      Qantas don't fly into Bristol

  • @flightfinderau… Because I'm a pedantic bastard… Your UI for multi city search has infants <2yo, children 2-11yo, adults 16+…
    No tickets for tweens? ;-)

  • Adults are recognised as 12+

It's marked on the search engine :)
