No, but instead behind the backseats' head area with a Bunnings strawhat like any normal Camry driver

10 year old camry with a with a bunnings hat in the back keeps the coppers away.

  • +11

    No, because I'm not 70.

One day we will be……let us remember this post πŸ˜‚

      • !remindme 35 years

Edit: Oh shoot, I mean 25. Oh well, 80 it is.

No tissues in car, wife uses them and then leaves them in the door pocket for me to clean out later

    • +2

Raise this to wet wipes for the messy kid…

  • Yes
Convenient location and doesn't affect my view.

  • +15

No, I drive a Camry so the tissue box belongs on the rear parcel shelf πŸ˜‚

    • +3

Comes as factory standard for all camrys. The ones with out have obviously modified their cars πŸ˜‚

  • +9

It's snot the worst place to store them.

  • +4

That's where all my PokΓ©mon plushies go.

  • +1

My Car runs on Telfast 180mg.

  • Because in an accident it can become the equivalent of a 1kg missile (or something like that)…

    • +2

      Didn't Mythbusters disprove this?

  • +8

Oh god no. It might knock over one of my 16 Demon Slayer figurines, or my solar powered waving cat or dancing plant.

  • +4

    Centre console

    • +6

      With the random lip balm?

      • +3

No, that's in the coin/loyalty cubby near my right knee.

  • We have a central screen and they shove nicely in front of that, resting on the middle of the dash. Probably aesthetically horrible, but convenient.

  • Its probably not happening any more than it used to, you are just noticing it more that you used to.

Hell, not another dumb & stupid post!

I did have a tissue box on my dashboard many years ago when I was a surveillance operative.
It housed a video camera with a cut out for the lens. πŸ•΅οΈ

    • Not at all suss in comparison to a dash cam

      • I am talking 30 years ago.
There were no dashcams back then.
It was a PTZ camera operated by a joystick and had a small monitor.
The latest technology and very expensive at the time.

  • +2

Put it in your glove box.

    • +6

Wouldn't have room for gloves then.

      • +9

        Wear the gloves. Problem solved.

  • I have a tissue box on my sun visor. Does that count too?

  • No.

    Blocks vision.

May also block the airbag from deploying correctly.

    • +1

block the airbag from deploying correctly.

How friggin heavy are your tissues?

      • The top of the dash is where the air bag comes out from, tissue box may stop the dash to open fully.

        • +1

No it won't. Watch this to find out why. The explosion is brutal. Not some soft fluffy pillow.

          • -2

@Muzeeb: Maybe maybe not, some car's passenger airbags deploy closer to the top rather than the front.

            • +2

@JimB: You said "may" a lot, do you have any evidence?

              • -2

                @deme: Nope.

Prove that it’s 100% safe and I’ll change May to will not.

Why is this a forum topic.

    • +3

You'd rather it be posted as a bargain?

      • +2

Id rather it never saw the light of day

  • +4

Come here for the bargains… have mind blown by questions daily

  • +7

Mate just be normal and use an old gym sock

  • +1

Has to be on the rear parcel shelf of a Camry/Aurion with damaged bumpers, preferably inside a laced type of cover.

  • +1

    Glovebox - asthmatic

  • -1

Shagonwagon with Amazon largest discount tissues 4 square ply!

  • -1

Glovebox, never on the dash, that's just a projectile waiting to happen.

    • if the airbag is launching it as a projectile, the tissue box is probably lower on the llist of problems you're experiencing that day

      • Never said anything about the airbag.

In a crash loose items become projectiles.

I guess you're right though, if a tissue box is flying fast enough to cause damage in a crash, you got other issues.

  • +1

    It's an uBer driver thing…

  • +1 parcel shelf life.

  • My wife has allergies, so yes.

  • My car is old/basic and has no cover/centre armrest, instead it has a small square-shaped hole, perfect size for a small square tissue box, so that's where it sits. Would never have it on the dashboard (front or rear).

  • +1

Tissues in the glovebox. Nothing on the dash because one less projectile flying around should there be an traffic collision.

  • Chap stick hidden away carefully

  • I have a pack of pocket tissues in my cup holder that I always forget I have.

  • Small pack of tissues in the door. +1 to not wanting something flying around should I get into an accident.

  • One in the front one in the back

    I drive a Camry

  • No, I'm a member of the handkerchief master race, but do have an errant toilet roll floating around the cabin of every car I've ever owned.

  • +1

Should add another poll option, a squashed tissue box either on the backseat or on the floor

  • I store mine in the door pocket

  • I saw one of these blokes today. Had a nice giggle out loud when i remembered this post πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • Its been a few days and i still havent seen one on a dash. Maybe im not looking hard enough.
