These are great deals. I recommend "Cheapcharts" website for anyone who's hooked on getting apple movie bargains. I think it's worth building a collection when they're on sale.
I had added that I recommend that app in the description of the post but a mod took it out for some reason great app though
I have around 700 movies on iTunes. About half of these came from the old digital codes that used to come with DVDs and the other half from purchases whenever particular movies I want drop to $4.99 (I check the $4.99 list on the Apple TV store app every Friday morning to see what's on special for the next week but now I'll use CheapCharts… thanks). The movies from the codes with DVDs were originally SD but iTunes later upgraded them to HD or UHD.
why "to purchase"?
Because they can take them away from you at any time unlike with physical media

I'd be tempted if it wasn't for the fact every time I log into Apple, it locks my account and I have to go through bs to unlock it. And it's a known bug on their support for like ten years at this point. It's just too inconvenient.
