Are you getting enough fibre?

Less than a third of Australian adults get the recommended daily intake of fibre. A lack of fibre in the diet often leads to stomach pains, bloating and sluggishness.

If you feel your digestion is sluggish, you are probably finding it difficult to operate at 100%. By having the right amount of dietary fibre every day, you can feel better and your digestive system will function the way it's intended to.

Unlike some fibre products, Benefiber is invisible, tasteless and dissolves completely, which means you can add it to just about anything. You won't even know it's there!

I used to add flaxmeal to my shakes…. It's was like I was sh*&trying feathers!!! I was certainly regular though.

You can definitely express your opinion or suggestions but that doesn’t mean you can neg the deal.

This products works out to be 2.73 per 100g, your 1/10 the cost Colsworth examples = Macro Orgainc Psyllium Husk from Woolies is $3 per 100g and the Coles Psyllium Husk powder is $3.56 per 100g. So they are more expensive.

Have you ever eaten psyllium husk? This stuff and Metamucil is delivered in a easily consumable and more palatable form.

Just because you think some alternative process is better/cheaper (even if you are wrong) is not a reason to neg a deal.

      • +1 for this. Psyllium husk is horrible on its own… I have it twice a day and need to add a dash of apple juice to make it palatable.

Tried psyllium husk from Coles on its own, could barely drink it down, especially when it turns to a blob if you don't skull it fast. Even with Bickfords it was barely palatable. Won't stray from Metamucil again

I dump a teaspoon of this in my morning coffee. They're not lying about the invisible, tasteless and dissolves completely part. This is great shit.

  • Is metamucil better?

    • Metamucil comes in orange and one other flavour. When you mix metamucil in water it becomes little thick.

      • +1

It comes in 3 flavours. Lemon lime is the best, the orange gives me heartburn and the berry flavour is disgusting.

It becomes a little thick if you dilly dally. A heaped teaspoon in a 250ml glass, quick stir and skull.

Ghost poo's inbound…..or outbound to be more precise.

  • Always wonder what sort of calories are in Metamucil, nothing stating it on the packet, just tastes like pure sugar, but certainly keeps you regular…

      The sweetener is aspartame.

  • Psyllium Husk works for me. And I think it tastes just fine. Cheapest I have found it is from Chemist Warehouse when on special. Last time I bought it, it was $13.49 for 500g so works out at $26.98/kg so slightly cheaper than this deal.
