  • Any idea how long this deal is likely to last?? I really want one of these and have been waiting for such a deal!

Good saw for home use, I got one about 3 years ago. Fits great in my workshop. It's really heavy though, either don't plan to move it much/at all or have someone nearby to help if you expect to ferry it from your garage into your back yard each weekend.

Yep, 32.1kg! My portable mitre saw is a 216mm Bosch 18v. The mitre saw in my garage is an old 909 brand 10" which I keep thinking that I should upgrade to something like the saw in this deal, but truth be told I use the battery saw more than 90% of the time.

      • I probably should have gone for a smaller size as that would have fine (and a little cheaper) but had a project that needed a bigger blade. I've considered getting a portable but with young kids it's easier to just keep all the dangerous stuff in one area that I can close off. Something for another day :)

  • goddamit……i bought the dewalt 12" one last year around this price.

This one is with the hinge arm too….
