Would You Pay a Monthly Charge to Access Rewards Like Gift Cards & Discount Vouchers at a Higher Discount

Hi Guys, was working on idea for our app which has health and fitness options.

If we introduce rewards which offer higher discounts like JB, Coles, Woollies at 5% along with other health and well being options. Normally these are available if you are part of a company or insurance providers etc. Normally with the free ones they are at lower value.

Would you pay to get that like $2, $5 or $10/month. Please poll

Please help with your views , feedback and ideas which you think is missing in the market.

Ultimately we want to make something which is beneficial for the community as well along with making some money.

      This also sounds like API Leisure & Lifestyle, which is open to anyone and also grants you access to the Reward Gateway discounted gift card and cashback platform for $9.75 per month.

    Nah, there are plenty of free memberships to get access to better rates. There would have to be a big discount to consider such a service. 5% off woolies is only 1% more.

    The extra membership, especially being a paid one, would be a mental burden that just wouldn't be worth it.

    Well, depend on the shop, and how big the discount is. If it's 10% off the Coles prepaid Mastercard, everyone will join even if it's $10 a month..

    Hey OP, you should realize most people voting don't like paying for subscriptions in the first place. I do pay for subscriptions: I currently have subscriptions on Amazon Prime, eBay, OnePass, Spotify, Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Patreon, Twitch, and Discord. Note that most of these are family plans/shared with family and I don't pay for them all alone.

    However I personally am not interested in a monthly subscription for access to discounted gift cards. I don't shop often enough for that to have value for me. Only when I'm seeking to make a big purchase, I seek out discounted gift cards and cashback.

    I would if I was certain I'd benefit more than the cost. 5% certainly wouldn't cut it as most people have this now through work or insurance as you said. Make it 25% for $2/m with no lock in period and I'm in.

    Nah mate, there's no value in what you're providing that can't be gotten elsewhere. People don't want another subscription.

    Think of it like this, your idea is so simple that if it's not been done before then there's probably a good reason - but your idea DOES exist.

    Besides all the points above, I am also unlikely to subscribe to a new start up who will go out of business or change the terms before the subscription is up. Even large corporations are doing this as it is not profitable.

    No. You can often get these gift cards with more discount through other means. Credit/debit card cashbacks, supermarket sales, prezzee etc.

    Trying to work on a Freemium model if we can but yeah if we come up with something definitely will try to do something special for the OZB community.
