    Aldi Logix Platinum - 79% - $0.19 per tablet.
Finish Powerball Ultimate Pro - 74% - $0.32 per tablet. (Can't find a rating for Ultimate "non Pro")

    Choice ratings October 2023.

So why would you buy these?

    • +3

Because they are the Ultimate obviously..

I don't like Aldi Logix. Never cleans well for me

    • I'm not able to find Logix (standard & platinum) at 2 Aldi stores recently. One staff told me that they are being discontinued. Is this true?

      • I wouldn't think so, it's their only offering for dishwasher tablets, and Logix is the established "brand", which includes other products such as rinse aid.

I've tried both and the Aldi ones never worked for me. Wish they did because they are cheaper, but I'd rate them 60% and the Finish 95%, that's why I personally buy these.

Why waste time going to Aldi? The minimal saving isn't worth my time.

    • Where can I find the "Pro" ones with $0.32 per tablet? Thanks.

Haven't been able to find any stock for the Aldi ones in the last couple of months… I am running out of stock, might have to pull the trigger for this

  • I bought these a few days back.
They are not ultimate, there is no ball, but they are 19c per tab.

Hopefully choice gives them a rating above 0%

Choice haven't rated them - though that's not necessarily a comment on their quality. I think they aim to get a cross-section of the brands available on the market, and even allowing for that, 9 of the 29 dishwasher tablets they tested are Finish brand.

    • They’re recommended by the major manufacturers so some testing must of been done to show they’re effective. I wonder is the ball just rinse aid? If so you can just use finish rinse aid with those tablets?

They’re recommended by the major manufacturers so some testing there must be of been done some kickback to show they’re effective.

        • I guess so, money can prove anything is effective. At the end of the day it’s just chemical detergents and rinse aid
