I actually read that and heard a 'Donald' accent… 😲

  • Bed company advertised no sagging but in the warranty detail will say body indentation is permitted up to 30mm. For me sagging and indentation is the same result.
Anyone has tried the company before and has to return the bed ? Was it a simple process ?

    • +2

Haven't had to return one, but we've had ours for 3 years now and we're not lightweights. Slight indentation of maybe 1cm, but barely noticeable and has been the most comfortable mattress I've had so far. It's very important to have a slatted base with the right gap between the slats in order to prevent or reduce sagging.

      • We've had our Queen sized SR been ~3years now as well. 2 'average' sized adults co-sleeping with a toddler who likes to go perpendicular to the normal orientation of sleeping, which pushes us out to the edges of the bed. In saying that the edge supports us well and we havnt noticed any sagging at the edges nor any indentation in the middle, not that we've slept there much due to said toddler. We've got the mattress on an old-school slatted base with about ~10cm gap between slats ~12cm(?) wide and havnt not had any sag or indentation.

Not really. 928 coils vs 2500 (might be an important feature for a heavier set person), no 100 night free trial, 5 year warranty vs 12 years.

      • -2

Agree on the coil part but do you really gonna use a mattress for 12 years ?

        • Good mattresses should ideally last that long and more.
I'm using my OzMattress bought back in 2013 and it's still good.

          • @hybir: Could you please post a link here

            • @raj76: Sorry I'm late, but OzMattress is long out of business now.
So I guess we're all late really.

        • If you buy a decent quality mattress you're expecting at least this long out of it.

        • We have coil mattresses that remain in use after 18 years, so yes. Fairly upmarket Simmons ones. Thinking of replacing one soon.

I would expect at least a decade out of a decent mattress.

Looking at previous posts this appears to be a regular discount & not really a bargain.

    • +1

Unless I am missing something, I would not call one discount in 2021, two in 2022 and none in 2023 'regular'.

      • -3

Thanks for pointing that out because the normal price has been jacked since then & the discount is the same so it's actually worse than I thought.

    Why the downvote?

Had this mattress for 3 years and can confirm it's the most comfortable mattress I've owned or slept in! Partner agrees.

Had this one for almost 2 years and much prefer it over my previous Koala

  • Great mattress, i got one delivered to regional vic and very happy with it.

i bought this mattress and had a completely sleepless night the first and only night i had it, no sleep, whatsoever. i quickly sent that back.

remember, never buy a mattress with inbuilt topper. it will sag, and you will have a useless mattress. get a extra firm spring mattress and a latex topper. replace the topper periodically. you can get such setups for under $750 from ikea for a queen setup

Basically same as the bedbuyer150 discount code that’s been around for yonks?

    Either way
I do have one of these. It’s decent.
The sides have held well (I’m 180 and over 90kg and don’t instantly fall off bed when approaching side like my other memory foam mattress) approaching 3 years owning it now.

  • How is it comparing to Sleeping Duck where you can replace the foam ?
