Still waiting for my PLE order…

    • you cancel and get a refund

  • Saying coupon is not valid?
NVM: Had to be logged in.

    • Oops, sorry. It was in the email and I should have put that in the deal. Fixed!

      • I'm getting coupon not valid whilst logged in, do you have to be subscribed to their emails or some thing?

        • Hi Manusdei,

          Code is working now.

          Cheers

  • I've been waiting for a UDR (dream router) deal for a while. Everytime the "unifi" ozb alert triggers I get excited :(

    • Me too :(

How much would the lowest price for UDM?

    • Lowest I've seen is on Ebay but they're out of stock at the moment, might be helpful to send them a PM since they were just in stock last week when I checked.

These Ebay guys ran a really good deal on the Amplifi Alien last year that I saw on here as well but didn't manage to snag one in time, so it seems all legit.

  • Could I buy this and run it as an AP to my Dream Machine (This one)? I have an Arlo controller that I'd have to disconnect to plug in an AP, so the extra GbE port on this would mean I don't need to do that - provided I can keep my UDM as the gateway

Are you looking to improve WiFi coverage? If so, it would be a waste of money, you'd be buying basically a whole new router/gateway/ap just to get a single extra port.

It sounds like what you need is a U6 Lite and a cheap 5 port switch.

  • Does this code only work for this product? I was hoping to use it on a U7 pro if possible

    • Hi poiterbad,

      Code is working now.

      Cheers

  • FYI - I have mine but there are a few issues with speed ramping on these machines along with the lites find out more here, looks like there is a fix coming.. https://community.ui.com/questions/UXG-lite-upstream-capped-…

Any one got theirs? Website there is no ETA now.

I got mine but I ordered at 269 which is fine…

But I received a model with a US psu and third party psu attached instead.. For my purpose I'm likely using a poe splitter to power anyway so it's not a big problem but I wasn't aware these were going to be grey imports…

    • I just received mine and same thing. To be honest, I am considering sending it back because it's a grey import.

If I had known this, I probably wouldn't have ordered it.

I called scorptec to ask if theirs were also imports but didn't get an answer. Given I'm using my splitter I set it up anyway, and wireless1 will be subject to Aus consumer law, I'm not overly concerned with warranty issues but still not ideal. Mine's already installed and setup, working great if it's any consolation

      • @ReaperX22 and @drinkin-beer the USB C power port is just standard USB C - there is no "PSU" requirement.

If you don't like the USB C charger they've included, just use another.

I use one of https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07TJ3ZNJ4/ to power my UXG-Lite from a PoE switch.

        • Yeah I already stated I use a splitter from my POE switch too.

But the USB C power plug included is significantly smaller than the included AU adapter. For those who are getting this to setup at their parents place or something, it's unlikely they have a POE switch lying around, so they'd want to use the original power supply. I'd rather the official one from Ubiquiti than a random strapped-on unit with no real branding for peace of mind.

          • @ReaperX22: Agreed, I wouldn't use the unbranded unit either, I would rather use a phone charger from the likes of Apple/Samsung - the genuine ones are very well built, and will happily run for years.

I just think it's a none-issue, surely every home has spare USB chargers kicking around ?
