      Also take anything from Rose Anvil with a frain of salt. The guys reliably clueless about high quality/welted footwear.

      With that said, there's definitely better priced sneakers of comparable quality. Unsure these days, but GREATS/Oliver Cabell etc.

        Can't speak for GREATS, but Oliver Cabell is no where near the same as Common Projects.

        Koio is comparable and in most markets can be had for cheaper, however shipping to Oz is a killer.

        Also Rose Anvil is a shill that'll say anything as long as he gets paid. Look at his reviews about Thursday Boot co and then look up actual reddit reviews on Thursday boot co. (EDIT: Sorry that's in response to the original comment).

        Rose Anvil = "Oh this is bad, but because of price it's acceptable"

        EDIT: Should add CPs are only decent when on sale, NEVER buy full price. I bought a pair for $299 shipped from Europe, considering Nike is pushing into the $200-250 range now with their retro releases, I think $300 for quality leather is not as farfetched of an ask vs 5-10 years ago.

          KOIO was the brand I was trying to think of, not Oliver Cabell, thanks. I'm a boot/shoe guy buy have a pair of GREATS (and Thursday sneakers, yuck) and I rate them - 4 years old now and still go hard.

    Check out Koio sneakers. Quality is amazing. Found the stitching etc to be neater than Oliver Cabell's, Thursdays etc. Price is cheaper than the CP's too.
