      still unobtainable.

  • Deal unobtainable for me. Hardly surprised TBH.

"This offer is not available to you".

  • Please help.

I keep getting this "Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you."

Even when I made a new account

  • Not working on my new account either.

Honestly, I think at this point it might be time for a rule to not post ebay seller promotions until they're live.
Because the amount of times they're not on time or don't work at all is probably well about 50%

    • …Or you could vote after the deal works for you.
I happy with early warnings of promotions. How many times have you seen people commenting in Bay promotion posts: I just bought/sold something yesterday or couple days ago?

      • You can't tell everyone to do this. Better to just ban upcoming eBay deals like this until they're live.

  • Tried on 3 different ebay accounts, which ought to be eligible but aren't.

Is this working for anyone yet?

  • +3

Deal is not working. Should be taken down.

Is this your first time partaking in an ebay promotion?
      :P
They're never on time. Hell, they've been days late before.

  • +1

Typical eBay - they screwed up the coding or forgot to implement it. Happens an unbelievably high number of times for such a large company

    Get stuffed ebay

Am an ebay plus member, not targeted.. and can't retract my upvote
I wish eBay plus would come with 1 free listing a month, thats not even asking for much, otherwise the subscription doesn't really offer much. I'm just a sitting duck waiting for random promotions to come up which offer 2% more saving than a non-member, and then the sale might not even have anything I want, or retailers will jack up their prices
Honestly what a shit service, I only joined because it was $10, but would never pay full price

  • I'm not eligible for the offer.. damn

It sounds like many are excluded from the promotion has anyone managed to accept the offer?

"Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you."

    • Ebay is just a time waster.

  • Does not work.

  • Doesn't work and I meet the criteria

  • i dont think this working for anyone in australia
    + revoked

  • +2

Please ban these type of eBay posts before they go live, only allow it to be posted once their live because they are never true.

  • Not working, waste of time.

  • not available…

I hate the fact that eBay has become pretty much the only way to sell things online in AU with some half decent controls in place to protect sellers/buyers….. and that is really stretching it.

Has anyone had experience selling on Amazon as a low volume private seller?

Edit: Haven't managed to get it to work on new or dormant accounts.

    • You have to pay $50 a month + fees on amazon to sell.

      • Is it fixed ? For how many listings?

        • Nevermind. It appears you can do 99c per unit sold + fees as long as you're selling under 50 items a month
The fees vary. But I believe the average is around 15%, though amazon makes it pretty damn confusing
          https://sell.amazon.com.au/pricing#selling-plans

Though its highly unlikely you'll ever sell anything on amazon unless it's brand new. As 99% of people aren't going to amazon for used products. (other than the warehouse stuff)

          • @[Deactivated]: ex-Amazon seller here, fees are $1 per unit sold (excluding GST) + FBA Amazon fulfillment fee + product category fee (up to 15%). Professional plan is $50/mth rather than $1 per item so only worth it if you sell more than 50 units a month.

At the end of the day it can cost more or less than eBay. You also can’t sell other branded products on Amazon unless you have a letter pf permission from the company stating you can resell their items.

            • @I Smell Pennies: Is it hard to begin a store on amazon and try selling own products?

              • @Modesty: It’s hard, don’t bother. Leave it to the Chinese. I lost money selling on there starting my FBA business and gave up after a few months.

                • @I Smell Pennies: Their support is also (profanity) useless. I was enquiring about signing up but wanted to go for the Individual Plan rather than the $50 ($54.95) per month plan. They said you have to sign up, pay the $50 then contact support to switch back to the Individual Plan and have the money refunded. I did just that, sent off the enquiry, they said they will look into it. Then told me because I had started to make a listing (never completed it) I have used their services and therefore it will not be refunded despite having the proof I made the request well before beginning to make any listing. Utter joke.

  • Not available on my two feeBay accounts.

Do we have a single verified successful use of this deal? If not, it should be removed.

  • Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you.

  • Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you.

  • Has anyone confirmed if it works? Otherwise, it's an unobtainable deal.

    • As of now, no. It’s eBay, so who knows, right..

      • A + vote on ebay deals does not mean its confirmed to work

        • I upvoted and didn't work for me.

          • @tajid: So did I, and I revoked my upvote after it didn't work.

I'll re-upvote if it winds up working.

  • Hi just wondering if someone could tell. Once you list an item with say a free fees promo. Does the free fees listing end once the month is up or does it continue until sold? If it's a buy it now. Cheers.

    • -1

It ends a month after the eligible listing goes live.

Eg. I sold something today that was listed at the end of January, I’ve only paid 30c in fees.
