Great deal. Can't imagine they stop working come March.

    • Medicine past expiry date is often ok (which is a surprise to me): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7040264/

      • I’m pretty sure it just loses potency or something of that ilk - not great for life or death situations where dosage matters, but will still do the job if it’s just paracetamol or something.

    • A lot of these things just have a five year expiry because that is the maximum shelf life. Some lose up to 15% of their potency. Since these things are in blister packs should be fine.

I always take expired medicine. As long as its not wet or liquid or gelatin capsule and in dry powdered form its still good. Thanks!

    There's also 70x Cetirizine 10mg - Dr Reddys Cetrine (exp Feb 2024) - $2.25 for 1 pack, $1.80 each for 2 packs ($3.60 total) or $1.69 each for 3 or more.

Nice find - i was in a rush to post so didn't scroll through their listings

      • +1

I almost did the same but curiosity got me looking to see if there were any other deals! 😁

    sorry, but it's 28% cheaper to buy 2x 70pk = $3.60 - same product, same seller

    • Updated - cheers

for the neggers who didn't check, the original deal was:

[Short Dated] 140x Cetrizine Hydochloride (Generic Zyrtec) 10mg $5 Delivered @ PharmacySavings eBay
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/385678609903

Short dated stock - but for $5 delivered I couldn't pass it up

      • Yeah you we're notified it has been updated straight away - yet you've still left the neg standing….

        • -2

You’re not meant to change the original deal title when you first posted. If someone found a cheaper deal in the comments, that’s how the negative voting works

          • +1

@BargainsGrabber: I see posts get updated all the time - someone comments 'you can get free shipping with this code' or 'add this for $5 off' - I credited the commenter in the description… anyway, i reckon theres been about 100 purchases since I found the deal, so it was worth posting

        • -4

i revoked the neg when i posted my previous comment - you must've seen it before it took effect due to the slight delay, as it's not as instantaneous as posting

i could've changed the deal myself, but that would've been beyond a mere correction

          • @tonester: I tried to report the deal to the mods but I got a no action taken. Oddly if a deal title was changed with a significant price difference, I thought it wasn’t allowed

            • +1

@BargainsGrabber: Seriously? People like you actually make me not want to take the time to post deals anymore…

              • @urbancartel: Well that’s a bit offensive to say there mate

There’s a voting guidelines for a reason and tonester didn’t do anything wrong

                Appropriate uses of negative vote
                Cheaper price elsewhere
Ideally, mention store, URL and price include shipping (if applicable).

                • @BargainsGrabber: It's a FACT mate - i don't see any problem in what tonester did either (i was merely letting him know why he was more than likely getting negged)… You're the one that i was commenting on - like reporting to the mods? You sound like a real hoot. Do you want me to take the post down?

            • @BargainsGrabber: thanks, no worries - i didn't think that the change was significant enough to report, though seems perhaps the update unfortunately resulted in this

              • @tonester: Hey @urbancartel and @tonester: thanks all-'round for posting and refining this deal together. That's what we do.

Please disregard the fake internet points and unhelpfully ad-hominem comments. A good deal just became a great deal imo, and both OP and the comments played a part.

    • seems @jason101 noticed and changed the price to 2x 70pk = $4.06 :(

  • My dad has been talking expired Antihistamines since last year and he is still around. Lol

  • Anyone know if regular Zyrtec makes me drowsy, is it likely that generic Zyrtec will also make me drowsy?

    • Quite likely if the active ingredient is the same.

      • Thank you. It feels abnormal not taking advantage of a bargain, but I guess I can let this one go..

        • $2 to find out - potentially big savings and it works - IMO that's a pretty cheap risk.

  • Slightly better than the previous deal, thanks

  • It said the last one when I got it.

hahah I thought Ozbargainers had enough of this product so I dumped the rest on eBay - I still have a few left I'll see if I can get the deal going again.

EDIT: Just realised I have to pack and send about 300 orders first, then I'll restock ;-)

    • Restock please ?
