Good, save a tree. It's not like one single person that ordered it would have needed one. They come with the sim card if swapping sims, or use a small paperclip.

I have used a needle to take a sim card out once and it got stuck and I almost cut myself taking the needle out. I didnt have a sim tool handy. I had to go to one of those mobile phone kiosks and ask for help to get it out. My fault, but people do need these things. Even if they have them they can lose them. If they didnt want to ship them then they shouldnt have listed them, no one forced them to.
Ha, yeah guess you won't be using a needle again. Any of those kiosks or phone shops could help if you can't find a small paperclip.
I just keep some handy, one in passport and looking at two on my bench right now.
No doubt some people may need one but typically it's just the greed when something is free, or funny to get it shipped. Nothing stopping you buying one now if you still need it lol.

@G-rig: My old phone malfunctioned with no warning one morning, I needed the sim card out to transfer to a spare phone so I could actually have a phone I could use. In my panic I used the needle when I couldnt find a sim tool. I dont buy sims or port phone numbers often so I dont have many spares, so an extra would come in handy.

Got it out of a novelty delivery, AusPost handled it and chose not to deliver, this was not worth a trip to the post office.
