      Say please

      • Pleaseeeeeeeeee

        • can't upload for some reason, tried many times

  • No description. Is it WiFi?
    (WiFi bad)

I picked these up at bigW when on clearance at my local. PIR, Temp and contact sensors work fine with Home Assistant using ZHA.

The button works fine as well but constantly flashes the led on the bottom of the button and only lasted a week on the battery.

I have not come back to it to troubleshoot yet. YMMV

    • I have this button at stays stable with good battery life on ZHA using the Sonoff Zigbee USB 3.0 dongle

      • Maybe the one i tested is funky, i got a few, ill do some more testing. Using conbee2 here. Thanks

    • I've had a similar experience - the button works for a few days, then drops off the network. Did the same thing on both ZHA and Z2MQTT, with two different coordinators.

    • I've had one of these that worked for months; I didn't need it after that so I pulled the battery, but for all I know it would still work fine.

  • I have a couple of these and have been impressed with the buttons and PIR sensor. The problem is the IR hub often drops off HomeKit and needs to be power cycled.

    • IR hub was also on sale for $34 but I didn't buy it. Instead I'm spending that money on Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2 which I'm pretty confident integrates Cygnett devices directly

      • Does sonoff dongle work on homebridge?

  • They have the door switch and button on their website for $27.50
I got a heap from Big W and they are by far the best Zigbee door switches. Single AAA battery that lasts a long time in comparison to button cells that dont

    • 1 got one door switch too for $13.50

    • how much did you pay at bigw? did you how are you connecting to HA? Have you tried integrating without IR/Hub from cygnett?

      • From memory they were $15 each. I run a TubesZB PoE Zigbee.
I use BroadLink RM’s for IR. Have not tried the Cygnett IR

  • How's the compatibility with Home Assistant?

    • I'll do it through zigbee dongle

I love these buttons as they are really large and tactile. Still have some tucked away from various BigW sales because I keep thinking they must be on discount becuase of EOL. Work well with HA, Sonoff USB zigbee stick and ZHA.

  • I have 4 of these buttons connected to a hubitat zigbee hub and they’ve been running like 1.5 years with the original batteries. The only (minor) problem is they use 2450 batteries which are pricier and more difficult to find than 2032.
