  How can Optus, Vodafone Spintel can offer me 5g internet, but Telstra can't, good grief.

      It depends on the area and the amount of capacity on each mobile tower.
      The retailers that wholesale the likes of Telstra is another story as that is on the wholesale network which is slightly different to the retail network, both Optus and Telstra run wholesale networks. I know with Telstra 5G is available on their wholesale network but its limited compared to the retail version as the bandwidth limits are not quite as high. Although you might be able to buy 5G services off a Telstra wholesale provider when the retail arm won't let you buy them.
      That said if your using 1TB or more a month in bandwidth at a fixed address an unlimited NBN connection would serve you better in most cases speed in particular as most places can get Fibre now.
