Bought 'Chocolate' flavour from previous deal. My impression comparing the product to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey:

    • Didnt mix as well as I would like. Left with powdery texture.
    • Flavour (Chocolate) tasted like cake mixture. Not particularly sweet, also not particularly 'chocolate'. Not offensive but not enjoyable.

YMMV but I personally would not buy again unless there is nothing comparable in this price category (which there typically is)

I got the banana in the last deal ($38/kg) I actually really liked it. Personal opinion is $48 is a bit steep.

    • Agree, I still dont understand what is in this protein that makes it 49$ + shipping as a deal.

    "48% higher bioavailability" How?
So if I buy this over say, Aminoz whey isolate, my body will use this 48% more protein than AminoZ?

    • I'm curious about this also, I assume it means low quality whey protein isolate but in comparison to some of the better brands it would be the same or just slightly higher bioavailability?

Hopefully more of the bigger brands start showing their DIAAS score and then it would be easier to compare, based on the fact that radix is using this score front and centre I would assume they score quite high compared to most.

My favorite vanilla 100 inc dynamic whey is at $63 for 2kg at chemist wharehouse (making it $31.5 per kilo)

Thanks for the link. This was posted only a few months ago for $38.45 + $7.90 Shipping so $56.83 delivered for 1kg doesn't appear to be a bargain.
Seems more like using OzB for free advertising.

100% - dont see brands like @aminoz here spamming every random price drop - they only post the actual BARGAINS - and in return get great feedback and sales from ozbargain community

      • Well, these are different products at least from a taste prospective. I haven't tried the OP product and it may be better. For example, I tried AminoZ and preferred Inc 100 which was more expensive at the time.
