Wow, so many negs. for what it's worth I too thought the first Titanfall was much better
Anyone that downvoted you must not have played the much better original game. Titanfall 2 took everything unique and great about it and threw it away in order to copy the latest trends, and it was much worse for it - and that was reflected in the player base abandoning it in droves after a few weeks. The "network tech test" beta was enough to make me not even buy it at launch despite putting literally thousands of hours into the first game. So many bad changes:
- "hero" classes of pilots and titans with virtually no customization
- dumbed down rodeo
- the battery system
- titans basically reduced to 30s killstreaks with how weak they are
- COD style 3 lane maps instead of the dev described "swiss cheese maps" of the original
- almost no post release DLC other than microtransaction cosmetics
Was told that TF 1 is only multiplayer and there is no single player campaign.
Will love to play it as I loved TF2.. Wall running is the bomb
I loved this game, even though it had a disappointingly short single player campaign. It was a decent story though and fun to play with some clever game/level design. Pity it launched when it did, between two other huge titles - highly underrated IMHO.
I agree. I think it was the most fun I've had in a single player fps campaign. Short but didn't overstay it's welcome and some brilliant level design.
Yeah OK, now that you remind me I did enjoy the campaign, it was the multiplayer that disappointed. The MP in Titanfall 1 was great.
The campaign is freaking amazing. The grapple and wall running have inspired a few games after its release.
The graphics do feel dated now :(
I kinda wish the grapple and time travel level got made into a full game

multiplayer wise yeah, don't buy this expecting any kind of multiplayer. worth $6 for a run through single player though
Definitely worth it, campaign is somewhat short but excellent gameplay and story.
Still stuck on ….Becomes the Master achievement. I hate it.

T1 was multiplayer only and there aren't any players anymore. Not even sure if the servers are still up?!
I enjoyed the campaign but its only short, sub 10 hours I think?
Multiplayer had massive problems with some toxic weirdos DDoSing the servers and stuff so was very dead.I dunno, 10 hours with no filler sounds better than a RPG that is a grindfest

No, it's all just multiplayer stuff for a game with a dead and iirc completely unplayable multiplayer.
