NBA currently have an offer going where if you vote on which Tatum 2s you think is best, you are offered 12 months of 3 device league pass for free, provided you are connected via a US IP.

I used Windscribe to sign up and had no issue.

Using an Australian IP would simply take me to a sign up page with prices, but via a US IP, it loaded straight to a 12 month off page.

It does require a credit card to be added, if you didn't already have one attached to the account. I used a Bano MasterCard card with no money on it.

Hopefully people can still sign up and this works for them.

      Edit: I think my old citibank debit card worked. But also see a $0 charge on my westpac that I tried. Maybe it worked too but checkout was buggy.

    Nba league pass sent emails to all Australians who purchased it overseas a few months back they will be charged Aussie prices next year so it will only be good for this season

          • @chris666: I've been streaming via NBA league pass site/app since about 09. No issues during that time that weren't my internet connection playing up. Since moving to an NBN connection, no issues at all

            So many factors involved but people always blame the App when its more likely internet speeds, device types, age of devices, number of devices in the house streaming/using bandwidth etc.

            • @jay889344: I've got better net than I ever had 1 gigabit tried different devices 4 different PC's 2 different TV's this year has been terrible (heat games) so I've gone to watching it on the high seas been perfect since

        • Every year I have to contact them to "reset" my account at various points in the season so it'll play live games. Twice this season so far so yeah, I can relate.

  • Well that was a bit anti-climactic. Went to the page and through the process to get the promo code, but then it wouldn't let me use it once I set up the account - "The redemption window is in the past."

  • For those who got a message that says the redemption window is in the past and/or zip code error, just keep clicking apply and/or reentering the zip code for one minute or so.

    This worked for me about 30 mins ago

    • Tried re-applying the discount code about 30 times but no luck, got bored and gave up. Congrats to all who managed to get, great deal.

  • i didnt see any expiry message but it asks to subscribe either 69 or 83 dollars.
