Looking for an Acceptable, Cheap Trumpet for Casual Use

Looking for a trumpet for casual use (used to play around 20 years ago to low intermediate level) but can't justify paying a lot.

Trying to avoid the cheap and nasty Chinese options.

Most second hand seem very much overpriced for dented, rusted, neglected instruments.

Plastic (e.g. ZO plastic trumpet) could be an option?

Oh, and this one time, at band camp…

  • Costco used to sell a student one with stand for $700-800.

Aldi was selling them for $150 as part of their random junk aisle specials.

Don't buy these landfill instruments. They are rubbish and will actively undermine the learning experience.

While typing on a made-in-china device. Why do you care where it's made?

    • Hurr durr.

Just download one of the free trumpet apps on the iPhone.

  • Sorry - I misread crumpet.
Apparently there’s another site that deals with that….

  • Definitely watch-out for anyone selling those rusty ones…

  • I hear its better to use a trombone for your sexual fetishes not a trumpet
