    If you're travelling solo, sure. If you travel with multiple members of your immediate family you can combine limits. You+spouse = $1800 GST free imports.

  Great value at that price, just be mindful the Plus batteries take the drone over 249g which may have implications in other countries, especially the EU. Overall I'm really happy with mine, batteries do drain pretty quick compared to previous models but I don't mind switching out and cycling through all 3 batteries each time.

      It varries and hard to tell as I normally just muck around doing short flights but there's no way you'd get 34 mins regular flying.

  Is it correct that the Fly More Combo batteries keep it under 250g, whereas the Fly More Combo Plus batteries exceed 250g?

    That has always confused me.

    I spoke to the authorities about my Air 2S, and they basically said that I could fly it anywhere that wasn’t restricted (5Km of an airport and so on)

    The emphasis was that I shouldn’t be an idiot, and when I mentioned the weight, they said the only time the weight was an issue was if I was over 25KG.

    Still confused to be honest

      If your drone weighs more than 250 grams, you must fly at least 5.5 kilometres away from a controlled airport.

      If your drone weighs 250 g or less, you can fly within 5.5 km (3 NM) from a point along a runway centreline (the measurement point). You must not:

      • fly over the movement area
      • fly over or in the departure or approach path
      • create a collision hazard to other aircraft taking off or landing.

      Personally i just went with the Air 2S as the distance and flight time is incredible, but also they are WAY better in winds which are common along the coast here.
