  • What's the shipping/postage rates to Australia like these days?

    • Shipping and handling is 28% of the net order total or a minimum of $39.99.

Is it me or is that a retarded way of calculating shipping?

        • +6

          nope. that's FULL retard.

        • +1

It's a horrible way of calculating shipping, the more expensive the shoes the more expensive them shipping.

4 pairs of air max 2012 is more expensive to ship than 4 pairs of discount (any other shoe)… that's why I only buy cheap/discounted stuff from Eastbay

        • -1

why don't you just shop at spendless shoes?

        • -1

Damn… some of you on here cry worse than my sister. How about you figure out the price of 4 x 2012 air max on this deal Vs what you can get them for in Australia?

        • Calm down buddy, just pointing out their horrible shipping methods and using the first example that popped into my head for other people that might not know about it.

Sorry for trying to add to the thread.

      • That's my point, your post added nothing worthwhile to the thread. If this company offers great prices as a whole, why dissect the deal for negatives? The end price is what it is, if you know where there's currently a better deal on shoes.. then tell us, otherwise you're just as bad as the other whingers who camp on their leather asses and post with negativity on here. (pointed more at Ozhaggler).

        • +1

It may well be negative, but it's unbiased information, telling people something they don't know that is relative to the thread/deal = worthwhile. $50 to ship 1 pair of shoes that cost $200 is something that some people might want to know before they order and wonder why the postage is so high.

The two posts that you made in this thread are less than worthwhile, whinging about the whingers. So if I am a whinging Ozhaggler camping on my leather ass, what does that make you?

BTW: My post in this thread has 2 plus votes.. how many votes do your posts in this thread have?

        • I'll go back to what I said before, your logic is senseless. The only relative factor is what an item costs to reach your door. How a company wishes to market their product and how the costs are distributed is up to them but irrelevant to the consumer. Only the END PRICE is relevant. So go and find a better deal than the one that's been posted here or find something better to do.

Your post has 2+ votes?? Gee.. you are clutching aren't you? Fail.

        • Wow, that story was amazing. I like the part how you went back to what you said before, your logic is senseless. The only relative factor is what an item costs to reach your door. How a company wishes to market their product and how the costs are distributed is up to them but irrelevant to the consumer. Only the END PRICE is relevant. So go and find a better deal than the one that's been posted here or find something better to do.

Speaking of ordering sneakers from OS, anyone else notice that Wiggle have stopped shipping Asics? No more cheap Kayanos :(

    • +3

Amazon.com and eastbay are the same :(

      • Guess it just means I'm gonna buy Nike Frees instead. Silly Asics - shooting themselves in the (Kayano wearing) foot.

        • COTD had $149.95 Kayano 18's two days ago… all the sizes too, almost got a pair.

  • Thanks for the heads up. Needed some new kicks!

  • Sierra Trading Post offers 30% discount on sport shoes and some other items.
    (discount applied auomatically on checkout)
    http://www.sierratradingpost.com/mens-running-and-fitness-sh…
For example some New Balance shoes come to just $30
They ship by UPS, order several items to save on shipping.

  • Whats the difference 'EMEB2C2E' code and the one posted on top of their front page? The code 'IPEB2V79' has always been there, offering 20% off all year around and sounds like it offers the same conditions…

    • It's not year round, they cycle their codes, the common ones are free shipping (within US) and 20% off. The best year round one I've found is 15% off.
