Business Shirts for Slim Male

Can anyone recommend any retailers (online or physical) for work shirts for a slim guy?

I used to buy the super fitted shirts from T M Lewin. They are the perfect fit for me but it seems they don’t deliver to Australia anymore. Tried places like Myer but even the slim fits are still baggy. Bonus points if you can recommend one that sells non iron shirts.

TIA!

      can confirm this.

funny story. i got a shirt tailored at Oscar hunt but i still prefer the stretchy material and fit on the uniqlo XS business shirts (pocketless ones).

just to be clear, the shirt at oscar hunt would've costed me $245 but got it free as a marketing offer, in case i anger the ozb crowd for paying an eyewatering amount for a simple business shirt.

    • thanks. never thought of uniqlo, will give them a try.

Connor and YD have slim fit shirts in XS

When I was thinner, I only used to buy connor slim fit shirts cause they fit really well.

I tried one from Connor. Faded very quickly and shrunk after a wash.

Same boat as you, the TM Lewin super fitted were great for me.

I tried Charles Tyrwhitt extra slim cut and unfortunately they end up being baggy in the chest then taper to the waist. They also ended up baggy in the upper arm of the sleeves.

Very different fit to TM Lewin unfortunately.

    • I was planning to try CT next but I heard the same thing from others about the fit.

  • I can’t fit into Zara shirts so they must be super slim because there is no way I could be less than slim, surely?

Honestly Politix, Zara and Hugo Boss all do great slim fit.

(Work pays for my shirts each year so have been stocking up on the Armani and Hugo Boss) else Zara was ever reliable.

    • Why does work pay for your shirts?

    CT won’t be slim enough

    • Can try if CT you want though, they have a good returns policy (you might just be out of pocket maybe $10 max for almost refund, you can go down one neck size as they measure button to buttonhole rather than edge of fabric to edge of fabric as other styles do.

Non iron at the moment are 3 for $135 if you have a special link.

      • Imo if the bloke is slim and of average or greater height no chance CT are a good fit
I’m 6’2 and wore a CT for the first time yesterday in 6m was awful fit. I’ve got the super/extra slim too.
Wore a custom fit shirt today and it was 5x better

I wanted a new shirt to wear around the office.

So tried a small lululemon short sleeve shirt. Since then I've found myself wearing the shirt more and more since its so much comfier than my others and more breathable making it better if you're in a hotter climate.

So far so good, I haven't noticed any wear and tear yet. I have been wearing lululemon pants for a couple years now and they've been excellent so I'm hoping to get the same longevity out of the shirts.

They are on the pricer side $69-130 but I'd recommend you go to a store and try one on. If you like it buy a single shirt and see if they work for you.

I can't comment on long sleeve but I imagine they're similar material

    Short sleeve

    Long sleeve slim
