whoa cant wait to load this badboy up with some jibbitz

  • +1

You could get similar crocs for ten bucks during covid lockdowns. Just wait till next virus outbreak…

    • Waiting is for chumps. Let's kiss some bats!

Suitable for a wedding? (Wearing a suit of course)

    • +3

Only if it’s a rubber suit

      • +2

Wish I didn't google that before I gotta sleep

    • +2

If it's your wedding why not? I wore thongs (flip flops) to mine under my suit. I figured if I'm paying for the thing I'll dress how I damned like.

I have no complaints with my $6 K-Mart ones, lol

    • +1

Thank you, Ordered one for daily wear

    • +1

i thought we can't get uglier than crocs

      • +7

I'm not worried about looks, I only use them for practical purposes, not fashion…I use them a lot for wandering around the garden and workshop, as camp shoes when camping off the motorbike or out of the campervan, as shower shoes in caravan parks, also wear them at times when launching the boat… I find them pretty handy, reasonably sturdy considering how light they are… …

        • +3

The Kmart ones definitely don't feel as good. I have both Kmart and Crocs shoes - bought at the same time as I couldn't justify the price of 2 Crocs lol.

  • +3

I left mine in the garden for a day and they shrunk like 3 sizes smaller. Usually its the gold that shrinks things.

    • +1

Same. My size 10 are now a 6. They changed the composition at some stage. On the other hand, my literide bought a few years back are instructable.

        • Gargh. Typo!

          • @bhm133: That's a huge typo.
            Indestructible vs instructable.
"destructi" vs "structa" that's like 78% of the word that's spelt wrong.

    • As in the sun or just outside? I actually have a pair that’s slightly too big for me, I wonder if I could shrink them on purpose 🤔

      • +1

        In the sun usually

    • +1

Happened to me too, if you can be stuffed:

      1. Pop the crocs in a dryer to highest heat with two damp towels (20 min)
      2. Wear 3-5 socks on your feet
      3. Crocs will become warm and pliable after dryer
      4. Insert feet and allow crocs to conform to your desired size

$34.99 at Kogan (less colours though)

  • Definitely hate them. After owning a pair, I found out they were no better than Aldi's.

Can't stand "trend followers". Especially stupid trends like this

    • +3

What’s the alternative to crocs or similar for wearing to beach, pool etc? Thongs don’t fit a lot of people due to foot shape and provide no support. Seems like thong wearers are the sheep.

      • +1

You can get thongs with support (for a lot less money) but you don’t really need the support if you are walking 200m from the car to the beach.

        • +1

You can lash some cardboard to your feet with string if you want even less support for a lot less money. Point is, thongs aren’t comfortable over any distance for some people, and on a cost per wear/distance covered basis, crocs represent value for money for them.

      • Whacko certainly wasn't an individual was he 😂

  • +3

Crocs being fashionable with teenagers, Ed Sheeran being one of the biggest male pop stars today, Donald Trump becoming President and starting an insurrection being able to run a third time… these are things I never would have predicted just a few years ago.

  • -3

Why does the RBA think hiking my mortgage rate can fix this kind of crazyness. Apparently the free market is just mental and you have to accept that.

      • -3

        Dude…

  • +4

Crox in sox and sox in box

    • One Croc, Two Croc, Red Croc, Blue Croc. Black Croc, Blue Croc, Old Crocs from Kmart, New Crocs from MyDeal. This one has a little star. This one has a little car.

  • +3

$49 for a piece of rubber. Won't be paying more than $10.

    • +1

Then you wont be buying them

    • +2

Do you take the same approach to car tyres?

      • +1

I slipped and fell from the stairs and broke my not so cheap phone, whilst wearing the so called wonderful and grippy, over hyped and too expensive The Crocs. So what's that about car tyres? What a lot of crocs, lol.
Whilst Aldi isn't much better but at least it is not a rip off.

        • +1

I got some health problems from wearing crocs as well. Ended up with my toenails ingrown as they were softer with the damper environment. And had a couple of near miss falls when they got wet and slippery inside.

  • +2

    Idiocracy. Satire or documentary?

    • Premonition

  • Honestly crocs are comfortable AF, as long as you don't leave them out in the sun (to shrink)

  • Title needs to be updated to "Crocs No-sex Clogs"

    • User name checks out

  • well not sure if it helps anyone, Rivers have a sale on theirs, Limited sizes but you might get something
