Restaurant is in Chatswood Westfields, if that helps anyone.

Between two people, you get two canned drinks, two mains and one shared entree valued at up to $3. WTF!
If a shared entree is valued at $3, I doubt that this deal is worth $42. Especially since there is a surcharge on seafood dishes.

is anyone still buying restaurant coupons after the torrent of awesome reviews here?

and by 'awesome' i mean shit

    • Yeah man, you just gotta know what to buy. I've bought about 45 deals to date (like 60 if you include the delivery hero ones). Probably had 5 bad deals. Some were amazing, others were good to try once.

Don't be scared because the vast majority of advertised deals are bad/hardly a deal. A good one pops up every 2-7 days.

Something like this….seems suspicious, I would need to check out the restaurant's menu before verifying if it was a good deal or not. As an experienced buyer..my thought process when I look at this deal:

      $3 entree sounds super suspicious.
Estimated max $16 mains, quite possible.
$3 surcharge on seafood mains = suspicious
http://spiceandmore.wordpress.com/2012/10/10/finally-decent-… indicates a tasty but medium sized dish at a higher price point.

Verdict, would be worth trying once at this price if I lived close to Chatswood even though I dislike soft drinks. Good as a lunch special if you're not looking for a seafood dish.

dont even fall for these coupons and crap anymore

seriously guys avoid these meal deals like a plague

you dont need to fall for these once, dont even let them get you for one time.

yup , bitten once , promise never trust these kinda websites anymore , including groupon , scoopon ….. etc etc

  • just bought one before reading the comments above. -_-b
oh well, small change anyway. can be that bad right?

  • It's a recently opened restaurant so I guess they are trying to get better known. If you live around there, you don't have to buy a coupon to try their cooking, you can buy a snack like I did the other day before you risk it with Groupon and the whole group buy thing, which is the concern of the posters above.

    • Was it any good? lol

      • It was fine. I had a few Thai fish balls with dipping sauce. Better than the fast food next door for sure.

I'd say that I have a 90% success rate with these kind of websites. It's really quite worth it if you want to try new things at quite a sizable discount. However, just make sure you pay SUPER close attention to the terms and conditions before you buy.
