Trailer for the Borderlands movie has finally arrived.
Jack Black is a great Claptrap, but I'm not sure about the rest of the cast.

Should have got Idris Elba as Roland and yeeted Kevin Hart.
Strange they didn't get Brick and Mordecai, seems like another case of the producers and writers never playing the games.
Sure is strange. I can't understand why Mordecai was left out. Worse, they invented a new character called Larry (Bobby Lee).
Love the Borderlands series but I really dont know to think here, no Handsome Jack or Butt Stallion.
Its kinda take or leave if I stumble on it on torrents.
I can't even remember, was Jack in the first game? He was incredible in BL2 though.
He appeared in the second, hilarious dialogue and awesome performance, one the best baddies in gaming. Bl3 twins were barely a shadow compared to Jack.
Interestingly the highest rated movie based on a video game is Werewolves Within which has 66% on Metacritic.
I'll probably watch it at some point, but from the trailer it's not high on the list.
Looks alright, will probably eventually watch it but definitely not worth a trip to the cinemas based on the trailer.

I'll wait and see, production quality looks good which is pretty much a given these days, cast looks OK. It will come down to the writing for me and if that's sub-par like most movies these days I'll give it a miss.
Borderlands is not my kind of game. But the movie looks fun though.
