"Fold it away for as long as you like."
Should be able to manage that part

  • It's the weirdest thing seeing you post an aldi deal.
It's not even related to flying in anyway…good on you!

    • Haha, thanks! I just was shocked at the price and fact Aldi was selling one! I've used plenty for my back and they're valuable pieces of equipment!

  • anyone get one of these?!

    • Yep sure did! Drove to multiple stores to find it. Seems max was about 2 to 4 per store. Based in the ACT

      • assume, youre lucky! let me know how it goes. i tried to get one but yeh seems like there was only a few in each store

now that aldi got me hooked on the idea, I'm wondering if i should try one of the $400 random ones coming up on google

        • Omg I considered buying that cause I gave up nearly….I saw the reviews for that place beware tr sport is the same company as leisure sports. The reviews don't look that great

I lodged a complaint with Aldi about stock. They called back and said SA aren't getting any stock. The next day we were at Aldi and there was 4 sitting on the floor! Customer support truly is useless at Aldi.
          Anyway..
Missus is a pilates nut. Happy enough with it. Changing band tension is a bit fiddly. Elderly, weak fingers might struggle to change them.
It's bigger than I thought they would be. But apparently it's smaller than professional units, as the other half hits the end stopper (just) by doing leg stuff (apparently normally doesn't). She is about 5ft 5.
At 6ft I could do some "stuff" she showed me, but not everything as basically it's too small for me. So i'd say 5ft 9 is about max on this.
Seems solid and well made. No idea of you can buy replacement rubber bands. (figure these will go first).

          • @tunzafun001: good to know, thanks for the feedback.

my specialist keeps telling me that reformer pilates is really important for the spine and everyone found be doing it.

i reckon by the end of the month I'll be buying one for 3k :,)

            • @CheapskateQueen: Look up wall Pilates.. heap of Pilates type exercises you can do simply by using a wall.

    • I was in Sydney but drove to Goulburn yesterday for the machine, was able to nab one however after driving back to Sydney and checking the stock checker Aldi seems to have removed the Reformer listing from their website so you can't tell if it is in stock anywhere now.

      • amazing, i joked about this, but looks like the jokes on me haha!!

        • Yeah I thought I was crazy because I missed the restock on Wed morning in Sydney as I was in office, still good to nab it despite 4 hours drive 🤔

  • No stock other than NSW/ ACT…yet in a national catalog. Then removed from the stock checker…

Submit an online enquiry/ complaint…and it won't accept a Gmail address.

    Bad Different!
