Pillow Recommendation for a Side Sleeper

Hello, I am looking for a pillow to increase my sleep quality and reduce my neck pain. I mean I know it is not the best solution, but it could still help.

I have got some options:

Ecosa

Buckwheat Pillow

Dentons Medi Rest

Ikea

Therapeutica

Would you recommend any of these or what else would you recommend around this budget? Even up to $150 if it is going to be worthy.

    Therapillo?

I use a quite firm memory foam pillow and a thick soft pillow and put them in a banana pillow shape with the ends resting on each other, the firm one on the bottom, and put my head on that. Seems to work the best. I can adjust how much they overlap to raise or lower my head a little. If there's an ultimate single pillow that's perfect I have yet to find it.

If you are having next pain, go and see a pillow specialist. I saw this mob a few years ago and it was well worth it…
https://backtosleep.com.au/ They are in Melbourne but I am sure most city's have something similar.

You won't pay for the consuldation (who are often student chiropractors).

Latex pillows - Dunlopillo, TLC Latex. Spinaleze was pretty good as well.

It may also be worth looking at upgrading your bed.

Tempur original is the one for me.

what helped me most was latex pillow (Dunlopillo used to be good, now it's TLC) and lots of walking

Have a look at the mediflow water pillow. No neck problems since started using almost a decade ago. Side sleeper. I put about 4.5l of water in it.

I had the Dentons pillow you mentioned but then bought a Koala pillow and honestly it's the best pillow I've ever owned. Each side has a different degree of firmness. I no longer need a second pillow with the Koala one. They have sales a couple of times a year so hold out if you don't need it immediately.

  • I got the latex dual contour Dunlopillo which has worked well for me. I don't like the sinking memory foam feeling, I prefer the bounce back of latex.

  • i buy/recommend TLC Latex Pillows - they've had 20% off sales in February for the last couple of years, so hopefully they'll have another soon

  • Single-piece foam pillows is optimal for side sleepers as they cushion and conform to the head and, also they typically provide stronger support than shredded foam or other fill materials.
