Thermoblock is the cheapest tech for a reason. Couple that with above average brew pressure and this isn't really a deal. Looks like a higher end model, but definitely isn't.

Google suggests Wellgood is the OEM for Sunbeam Torino.

They are pretty much identical.. apart from the e61 appearance there is nothing else similar.
Better off going dual boiler by vreville

    • Ascaso Baby T Plus (hybrid thermoblock) $7,499
      Decent XL (all thermoblock) $6,743

WPM Welhome Pro by far not the best coffee machine but it’s a good value for money beginner’s machine. Breville Dual Boiler is even better.

    buy BDB instead

  • Really want to know more about this machine. It is 3300W so it may need a 15A power point for the machine? How about the other dual boiler coffee machine available in the market for home use? I want to upgrade my machine to dual boiler.

    • had sunbeam dual thermo and was fine, gave it away and got breville dual boiler as was on special pre covid …same quality coffee once you adjust the grind … the sunbeam dual thermo was stainless steel thermos.

    • 3300W?!?!

      For a coffee machine?

It also has a 25L water tank apparently

  • It looks like machine does not have OPV - over pressure valve, which is a major let down.

    • Adjustable OPV would be sweet. I remember some of these models have pressure profiling, does this one have it?

  • I would suggest to pass this machine, looks like a fake e61 to me. also it said 15 bar pump, normally it should be 9..

I'm not going to say ugly, but the thumbnail looked like an open dishwasher.

IMO the Bambino Plus is all that's needed for most people and only costs like $500-550

Using Bambino plus for last 2 years. Really happy with it. Couple of weeks back it was dropped to low $400 range

    • Just got this recently, love it. Great results using IMS basket for a double (18-22g), proper tamping and little extended extraction (holding the double button for a little bit to extend preinfusion and cutting off after getting the right volume, about 1:2)

      • Is the Increasing of pre infusion changing the taste ?

      • I believe it's volumetric, so you might be able to program it to extract just as much as you want.

    • Have had the Bambino plus since COVID lock downs thinking I would upgrade within 2 years. Never needed to upgrade and has some features that I didn't think I'd like as much and that other machines don't have like the 3 second heat up and auto frother. Only upgrades have been IMS basket, removing portafilter plastic or using bottomless, and puck prep side (tamper/WDT) and running in manual mode. Coupled with a decent grinder it won't let you down

  • Specs appear similar to Sunbeam EM7000 .. 7200 series: Thermoblock, 15 Bar .. It goes for about the same price on Amazon and other retailers.

Neither Sunbeam nor Breville last forever, repairs unless DIY may not be worth it after a few years,
    YMMV

I’d say it’s not great deal but also not a bad deal.

Buy this and slap a rocket badge on it.

  • Ah the joys.. bit like a kinder surprise you don't really know what's inside.

Apparently Costco has an extremely good returns policy
