  • Looks like a very uncomfortable sleeping position. Reminds me of a hospital bed.

    • It's for mobility. People that need help getting in and out of bed and so on.

    • +1

what hospital are you in that has a queen size bed?

  • I bought and found that I got more back ache, tried all three hardness levels, somehow didnt work for me. Everyone's not the same so research and/or try before you buy.

    • +1. Tried many and finally settled with ecosa

  • +1

Bed is saggy after the return period ends so I'm confident I will find a better bed and value for money elsewhere

    • also Im pretty sure I bought my mattress 50% off lol

  • I have had one for a few years now and am very happy with it.

  • I tend to like mid-firm to firm beds, so If i bought a onebedx 12" and find that the firmness isn't for me, and return withing 125 days and switch to the original 10", would the 50% off be honoured?

    • Our Onebed X is our plushest option. If you like medium-firm, I'd suggest going with Onebed Original on the firmer setting, or a Onebed Modular.

  • I have purchased 3 mattresses last week and the delivery scheduled in march. Now I see the price is reduced to 50%.
Can I get a price match please.

  • Was waiting for a deal on a new mattress. Didn't originally have these guys on my list but am thinking about buying the onebed x at this price. Much difference between this and Eva or ecosa? So many of these bed in a box companies now that it's so hard to decide.

Anyone have experience with this bedframe? I was going to get a cheaper zinus but this looks easier to put together.

"We don't advertise as much as other brands, we let our prices and reviews do the talking." - maybe you redirect your marketing budget from advertising towards funding paid reviews?

  • Purchased the Onebed X Queen in late 2022 and despite having initial reservations, it’s the best mattress I’ve ever owned. Had Sealy and Regal prior to this and though both were decent, they don’t compare with the comfort of this mattress now, especially after that initial couple of months settling in. I do think the mattress retains warmth more than a typical pillow top, and it’s on the firmer side than most, but partner disturbance is negligible to non/existent. I also paid $1200 in 2022 so this seems a cracking deal.

  • This Breeze mattress is cheaper and was highly rated by Choice:
    https://breezehome.com.au/collections/mattresese/products/br…

Given this I wonder if expensive mattresses are just marketing spin. They're almost always discounted.

  • +3

This is worst mattress ever and worst customer service from them. Soggy. Don’t use it.
Even foam from Clark rubber is better than these guys.
And don’t fall for their Ad of 50% off for one day only.
Just ignore and see the next day. This misleading banner would continue to be there.

    • +1

Soggy bed would be your problem, nothing they can do about what you get up to in a bed once purchased.
Saggy bed would be their problem on the other hand.

      • -1

Good luck to you with this mattress. And for any service if needed. Would be your problem as well.

        • +1

I think the previous person was trying to be funny, soggy as in if you made the mattress wet then its your problem

    • Hi PopCountry, may I have your order number to follow up?

What was the exact issue with your mattress, and did you try return within your 125-night trial?

If your mattress is sagging, we will issue a replacement free of charge upon receiving photos.

You can PM me here, or contact our customer service team at [email protected]

      • Have raised service requests and you have failed miserably. So thanks, and keep this BS with you.

Companies like yours force customers like us to shop with Costco and Amazon alike.

And your Product Review thing. So you give customers a chance to win back their spent amount by posting a review on Product Review and then sending that review screen shot to you guys for them to be able to win. WTF is that?

And don’t give that BS again as disclaimer in that. Genuinely my experience is that you guys are worst to deal with. Simple as that. And any resolution has to happen via ombudsman.

I know it’s paid review as being a customer

        • May I have your order number? If you're not comortable posting it here, PM it to me. I'll look into it.

Edit: Regarding our reviews, how else can we do it? If people leave a review, they need to let us know in order to enter. We are not affiliated with ProductReview, they are an independent platform.

        • -1

Dont mention other competitors, Onebed will accuse you of being affiliated with them based on that alone.

I'm apparently affiliated with Emma as I made one positive comment about Emma but to quote OneBed "Conveniently, they're always on Emma's threads with praise, not sure if there is an affiliation between them."

Im still waiting for onebed to substantiate the claim that I'm "always" praising Emma

          • @chk: They are literally sh*t (the support system). The fact they mention Emma for you is one such proof.
I have never … ever had such bad experience like they did. And I feel I am very reasonable and supportive when dealing with support ppl.

            • -1

@PopCounty: I'm honestly shocked by their responses on here

  • Thanks op got 1

  • +2

Their mattress is only good for a few months after that it ll start sagging. Honestly it was a waste of money. After spending that much you would expect that mattress atleast last for a few years. Personally I wouldnt recommend. Dont be fooled by all the 5 star reviews.

    • -3

If your mattress is sagging, we will replace it. We have an anti-sag warranty. You can get a full free replacement.

      From our website:

"The warranty covers any visible indentation greater than 20mm that is not from being pushed in or temporarily caused by external factors and is not a result of improper use, or the use of a frame that does not provide appropriate support."

Simply get in touch at [email protected] and show a photo of the sagging, and we'll replace your mattress. Sagging is not common with our mattresses, and if you're experiencing it, it means you've received a defective mattress and we will replace it free of charge.

  • Do you have a showroom or any stockists? My OT and I are looking at options for adjustable bed frames but we need to do an assessment to see if it’s suitable for me.

    • Do the negs above on the quality and customer service not scare you? They conveniently ignored all the neg comments.

      • +1

We are only not responding to chk. If you check our previous deals, chk always turns up to argue with us and damage our brand. Conveniently, they're always on Emma's threads with praise, not sure if there is an affiliation between them.

We've told chk if they provide photos of sagging, we'll replace their mattress. They have been unwilling to provide any photos showing sagging or indentation. We've gone around and around in circles with chk, who believes we should just give them a full refund because they've told us it's sagging, without providing any proof at all, and refusing to work with our customer service team.

You can choose to trust one disgruntled, very noisy customer, or you can trust the thousands of reviews (independently verified) found here:

        https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/onebed-mattress

This deal is genuinely our cheapest price that we've ever offered. Chk claiming he received his mattress at this price is a lie, we've never offered our mattresses at this price before.

        • Thank you for explaining

        • +1

          @onebedmattress

          1. next time tag me in your post like I have done if you have any accusations
          2. I sent you photos in June 2023 to which you responded and denied my warranty claim
          3. I am not affiliated with Emma in any way shape or form, feel free to report my posts to the mods and I'll happily work with them to disprove this or better still, provide any proof you have. You can see from my comments that I have said I have used a handful of other mattresses, it doesn't mean I'm affiliated with them. Nice try and great display of your customer service skills
          4. you only responded to neg comments after someone else highlighted it, dont deny it, messages are time stamped
          5. I will now comment on every ozbargain post you make from now on given your attitude. I didn't neg you at the start but I will also do so going forward.
          6. Interesting to see 2 others have described your mattress as 'saggy' in this thread. Guess the problem isn't with me unless you want to accuse those other comments as my alt accounts?

Also in the interest of transparency, I just upgraded my emma mattress to a king size recently.

          Update:
The majority of onebed productreview reviews are incentivized
          https://support.productreview.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/33375…

          Additional point
"they're always on Emma's threads with praise"
I commented once in an Emma thread out of pages worth of Emma mattress deals on OB. Please help me understand how that equates to your comment that I'm "always" doing so.

          • @chk: We would like to clarify our position regarding your warranty claim and address the concerns raised publicly. At Onebed, we incentivize reviews equally, irrespective of whether they are positive or negative, to ensure we gather a wide range of honest customer experiences.

Upon reviewing the photos you provided in June 2023, our team determined that there was no visible indentation exceeding the 20mm threshold that our warranty covers. This threshold aligns with industry standards, and we have consistently honored claims where this criterion is met. To date, we have never denied a warranty claim where the provided evidence shows an indentation greater than 20mm.

While we understand that you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your warranty claim, our decision was made in accordance with our established assessment procedures. Should you have any new information or further evidence, we are open to re-evaluating your claim.

We must respectfully inform you that we cannot continue this back-and-forth without a constructive purpose.

For any additional assistance, you’re welcome to reach out to our support team at [email protected]

            • +1

@onebedmattress: "We've told chk if they provide photos of sagging, we'll replace their mattress. They have been unwilling to provide any photos showing sagging or indentation. We've gone around and around in circles with chk, who believes we should just give them a full refund because they've told us it's sagging, without providing any proof at all, and refusing to work with our customer service team."

So this statement above is false. To keep it constructive, spend more time learning customer service skills instead of making up excuses which you cannot substantiate, going through my ob history then accusing me of being associated with Emma after I made one post regarding my positive experience with them.

            • +2

@onebedmattress: Also my comments did not require a response from you, you chose to respond to them with LIES.

I am expressing my personal experience with onebed for others to make an informed decision.

I have no issues sticking to words I say because I can substantiate them, hence I'll be commenting on every post you make.

      • Yes it does a little but people seem to be talking about mattresses, not the base, and they aren’t detailed complaints. I tend to favor actual review sites for in depth detail. Personally, I will likely need a custom mattress anyway due to my disability. The adjustable base is what we need to source and I don’t want a hideous hospital bed.

    • Unfortunately we don't have a showroom or stockists at the moment. We will potentially have some stockists around June/July in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne.

      • Oh that’s good. Doubt the deal will be on then but I’ll definitely keep my fingers crossed.

  • Hi there, I purchased a onebed queen size mattress at the start of Feb to upgrade our existing onebed double size. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a refund on the price difference to this new sale price? :)

  • @onebedmattress

What kind of foam is the matress made out of?

Chemical name rather than marketing name would be helpful please.

  • +1

    very dishonest company

    • Why do you say that @johnfuller?

      • +1

as others have mentioned above; onebed reviews are incentivized, thats disreputable dont you think, leading to more positive reviews than negative ones.

        • -1

          @johnfuller,

Quick point of clarity on how we do things at Onebed! We make it crystal clear in our emails asking for reviews that the incentive is yours whether you leave a 1-star or 5-star review. Our goal? To hear from every customer, not just to collect glowing reviews.

We've offered everything from free pillows to the chance to win your purchase back, and we’ve always honored this, good feedback or bad. This practice is about encouraging all buyers to share their honest experiences, which helps us improve and gives future customers real insights.

It’s a common approach across the mattress industry to ensure a broad range of feedback. We’re committed to transparency and genuine customer voices at every step. If you take a look at other major brands on productreview, you'll also see they incentivize reviews.

          Hope this clears things up!

          • +1

@onebedmattress: send a screenshot of the email you refer to.

if a customer leaves a 1 star review, what is to say they will actually receive any incentive? do you see how bias it is? maybe you dont see it.

upon checking several archives of onebed.com.au its always 40% off or 50% off throughout 2023 and 2022, how is this even a deal?

high price tagged items with constant discounts to make buyers feel like they've got a bargain is brand damaging on its own but hey good luck to you

  • I’m finding their return process very poor.

The websites says you can call or email for the return.
I call them on their local number but they tell me to email instead. When I pointed out the website I could call as well, the lady on the phone got very rude about it.

My first contact with them was on Feb 20 for the return of the mattress. I’m still waiting for them to book me in for a collection. All the chasing has been done by me.

Not worth the hassle buying from this mob.
