  • I highly recommend the Jabra Active Elite 8 earphones. These super small earphones give the over-ear noise cancelling headphones a run for their money.

    • Interesting, I was looking into new earbuds about a year ago and these never came up, I think it was the 4s people talked about mostly.

  • if jabra elite is under 249 then we call it bargain. otherwise it is normal discount price

  • +1

At this price point, I recommend the elite 7 active instead of the 8. For more than $100 less, the elite 7 active are superb for running and aren't all that inferior — only losing some features in sound, ANC, and battery life. Should the elite 7 active go down to $120 they will probably be taken off the shelves soon, at which point I intend to buy one more set as a spare.

  • Which of these is best at cancelling out noise during calls? My colleagues say they hear a lot of background noise/other people when I'm on calls. I'm in an open plan office and our team attend a lot of meetings.

I wouldn't recommend wireless headphones for work calls. A wired noise cancelling headset would be better.

      • Thanks for your advice!

  • weird… I've owned 3 jabra elites and coincidentally evrytime this deal comes up is the around the same time they start to break on me.

  • I see the Elite 3 is supposedly half price at $59. If I'm not looking for anything too fancy and just need a basic entry level one to listen to while walking would these be good or go for the JBL wave for same price?

  • How do these compare with the Jabra Elite 75T and Jabra Elite 85T?

    • Those models are outdated I would go with the Elite 7 if you care about mic quality and Elite 8 if you care more about ANC.

Got myJabra Elite65t (i think so) during covid times in 2019 and its still going strong. I use it almost everyday.
My only gripe is it picks up background noice during calls (e,g on a bus).

I have these as well. My only gripe is that the battery life has lately been quite poor. Only lasting about 2-3 hours tops. So taking the opportunity to upgrade to the Elite Active 7

      • Yes the battery life has certainly come down.. but for my use 2 hours continuous is plenty before my ears need a break and the pods can charge in the case meanwhile.

    • My battery life came down to 2 hours so I got the Elite 3 for $50 in store and it's the same thing but even better.

      • which store?

  • How long do these deals last?

  • Hrmm Elite 8 Active $249 or Sony WF1000XM5 $300

    • Sony WF1000XM5 is more superior ANC and sound stage

  • +1

Got the elite 8 active, big upgrade to my WF1000XM4. fit is more comfortable and ANC is better

    • Wow really? My XM4s are failing (battery drain on right earbud) so I was thinking of going for Jabra again, even though the ANC and isolation on the XM4s was amazing with the right tips (have switched to SpinFits now since the memory foam tips didn't last). Good to hear the Elite 8 Active is good and impressed if it's an improvement. Stock tips?

Elite 8 Active for $211 on Good Guys
    Elite 10 for $250

    • Got some Elite 10's for $245 PB GG, very happy so far.

My Sony Headphones keep disconnecting and having Bluetooth issues on my PC

Decided to give Jabra a run

  • Anyone know how the 7 Actives compare to Soundwave Liberty 4s? (seem to be similar price point)

  • Do these still require the right side in and their own app to function? I sold my old ones for an Amazon budget pair and so much nicer just being able to connect to bluetooth to any device with either ear in.
