Vittoria Coffee $14.98/Kg, Plus Rice, Seasonal Summer Fruit & Veg at Harris Farm (NSW)

60

Running out of coffee? Harris Farm had a great deal with Vittoria coffee: $14.98 a kilo (2x 500g bags)is probably the best coffee bean price this week (aside from the roast-to-order deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/83268). [Still for sale 5.11.12]

Otherwise the fruit market flyer has melons, grapes, tomatoes, jasmine rice and dried cranberries on sale on my local flyer. Just in case anyone's interested. Check the store list in case there are other specials near you.

  • +1 for Vittoria

  • Lebanese cucumbers @ $1.49/kg at my local, thanks. Seems to be only my local, unfortunately.

  • Fruit flies on special at my local fruit market.

  • I am not the slightest bit of a coffee snob, truly.

But buying the cheapest freshly roasted beans from my local roaster at $15 dollars/kg, well, there is no comaparison between freshly roasted beans and Vittoria, Lavazza, even Illy.

Every now and again I buy beans off the shelf from Woolies or Coles, and every time I hate myself for doing it. It is crud.

(My local roaster has beans for $15, $25, and $30 a Kilo. In typical ozbargain style, I have only ever tried the cheapest, but still a million times better than the big name brands)
