    dang need 85"

    • why?

Poor room planning. Viewing distance too large. Couch too expensive to replace or move forward. First world problems.

        • +1

Don't you get issues with audio lag over that distance?

  • Was actually going to pull the trigger.. no delivery to SA! Whaaa…

      Perhaps too dangerous?

    I’d recommend not buying Samsung.

They purposely nerf future firmwares to make your tv worse and hope you start thinking about a new model.

Disgraceful they haven’t been sued for it.

    • I'm surprised after Apple got sued for the same practices companies still do it but they were only used because they didn't inform the user, I'm sure somewhere in there 100 page agreement they inform you of this and that's how they don't get sued.

Agree, I wouldn’t touch one again after the S95B debacle: https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/comments/w136f4/samsung…

Imagine waking up one day and your EV has been nerfed, so far it's the opposite but if every tech company uses this practice what'll stop EV manufacturers?

      • Latest 16xx series firmware on s95b is solid. This has been a massive storm in teacup with only a couple loud voices. I game all the time and HDR and max brightness etc is amazing on this set.

        • +1

They literally disabled input signal plus on the game HDMI port in the most recent firmware for older models.

This after yo-yoing back and forth with horrible local dimming until they finally settled on a firmware that chose to not use half of the zones to make the blacks look worse.

There's tonnes of owners confirming this on their official forums.

          Samsung are straight crooks.

Not a great deal, wait for better ones had the 75" under $2000 last year for Qn90B in March/April. Hold your fire OzBargainers haha

  • I recently purchased a tv from them and found their customer service to be diabolical. I will never again purchase a product from Samsung Australia.

  • There's no 65" equivilant?
