Another decent prepaid plan with longer expiry dates than 1 month.

Amaysim 365 day and Aldi $5+$15 may be more suitable option for you, if this is not suitable. Regardless this is not a bad choice either. (very cheaper calls to china and singapore)

$30 plan gives you 180 day expiry (to become $35 at 10/04/2024)
$40 plan gives you a 365 day expiry (to become $45 at 10/04/2024)

Data 4c/MB
Standard int'l minutes (Country specific rates apply from 2 cents (china, singapore, Saint Pierre & Miquelon) - all the way to $3).
Standard national calls 20c/min
Standard national text 20c/SMS

$40 plan gives you a 465 day expiry (to become $5 at 10/04/2024)

    I'll wait for that deal.

    • sorry typo

Are you just posting all the mobile plans you find?
Need to see an actual bargain, not just information…

(very cheaper calls to china and singapore)

      2 cents per minute

that is like upto 1500 minutes of call in China/Singapore for such $30 (within 6 months) If you need to call to a mobile number (instead of internet call)

uses vodafone network, so good if you got a device that is LOCKED to vodafone network.

      • You should probably reword the deal if the only advantage to this plan is cheap calls to China. It's nothing special otherwise. At 4c/mb you're not even going to manage a full gig of data on the $30 plan.

Calls to overseas are free, it's called, WhatsApp, Teams, Skype, etc etc

    • No they are not free technically, they require Internet.

Plus they are not really the best quality always from my personal experience (certianly decent enough, but can be very bad if you or other person got a bad internet connection)

Well yes, but for anyone that already has this, most of us, it's free, as I would have it either way, mostly use it for streaming, and WhatsApp for free is a bonus.
I'm not paying more to call OS compared with paying a per-minute charge on top of my internet connection.
        But fair point :)

They are not free when you have older relatives who only have a landline, or when you need to call a bank, or a government agency.

      • I don't have this issue personally, but can see how it might be for some users, valid :)

The name itself brings me back nightmares I had with their service.

    • Only times over my 16 years with them I ever benefited, were back in the days when you could only send texts to someone on the same network… And there happened to be this girl I liked on VF. ;)
The other time was during their 'No Plans' days. I had a company phone and didn't want to lose my old / personal number.
Other than that, I found both their coverage and customer service to be well below par.
Like I said, 16 years with them, and I couldn't even get the same basic deal as some new kid coming in off the street!
      Bye, Felicia
