Just noticed that ShoppingSquare has the D7000 on special. This price for both the camera nd kit lens is excellent. While it is almost certainly a grey import, they offer the camera with a 12 month Australian warranty.

For those of you who don't already know, the D7000 is Nikons' semi-pro crop factor camera. It is an amazing camera with excellent image quality. If you need a review, look here.

    There is absolutely no way whatsoever to justify $99 for shipping for a camera + lenses.

      I get what you're saying, but I find it's easier to just forget about the postage cost and item cost being separate and look at the big picture. This camera will simply cost you $1083.

          Er.. no… Price of goods under $1000… doesn't matter that shipping takes it over 1k. So, should be happy they're (possibly) inflating the shipping to reduce the price.
