PLA Matte Red, Orange, Grey and Dark grey now restocked (they are actually matte this time and not error rolls)

Last but not least!!!

For 3 Days only a Trial is being run to test the viability of free shipping at the current price point.

Free shipping now active go to checkout with 10+ rolls in cart for metro, 20 rolls for any location in Australia:

free Shipping is being trialed. Here's how it works

Any order with 10 rolls or more is eligible, when you checkout it will list the option for free shipping. Please note that it has to be 10 Rolls of FILAMENT, If one of the 10 items is not filament the order will be charged full price for shipping,

This only applies to rolls 500g or larger (Including protopasta), For example if you order 10x 50gram coils the free shipping will still show but the order will not be processed during the trial and it may be cancelled.

For regional customers or customers where shipping is too high for me to swallow, if you buy 20 or more spools it will be shipped for free if reasonable, or a flate rate of 9.99 will be applied to your account after your order.

logic of free shipping:

when you buy 10 rolls it applies a filter to check the shipping price, if the shipping price is lower than 20$ it will be placed as free shipping, if the price for shipping shows the system more then 20$, it will not show the discount.

When you buy 20 rolls or more the 20$ checker becomes irrelevant and any order above 20 rolls is shipped for free if the shipping is <strong>reasonable under 2$ per roll, If it is any higher, you will be contacted to pay a flat rate of 9.99. If your shipping rate is way too high even for flat rate, Ill be in contact with you for negotiation on shipping costs.

Orders may be cancelled if we cannot reach an agreement on shipping.

this is a Trial run

TLDR:

9 rolls or under, full price on shipping
10 - 20 rolls if your in metro parts of Australia and the shipping fee shows below 20$ when you checkout, your order will ship free
20 rolls or more, no matter where you are in Australia its free shipping

Photos of all filaments now added these photos contain real images of prints as well so its not just reliant on renders!

    I. Don't. Need. More. Filament.

  • probably best to remove the 'out of stock' "Original PETG-CF black" from the website to avoid confusion

    • Its still staying actually, its gonna be restocked next week

Hey Sidd - thanks for all the updates! Happy to see a lot of the PLA restocked, first purchased a couple of months ago and super impressed.

  • Even though it have 10 rolls of PLA from Jayo…
Interested in Siddament quality in comparison to Jayo which is around $13/kg.

EDIT - Free shipping doesn't work for me it looks like even thought I think I'm in Metro Melb (3156)

    • Intresting, was that on 10 rolls or more? and how much did your cart end up being, let me see if I can tweak it

      • 10 rolls. I'll see if I can send a screenshot

      • DM'ed you a screenshot mate

I haven’t even put together my 3d printer yet and I feel like I’m missing out if I don’t order now

    • +1

Lol was just thinking the same thing… but mine hasn't even arrived yet.

To be honest I have zero idea how much I would need or should buy.

      • +1

My advice, start with cheap filament as your starting out. Intially, you'll naturally make mistakes and waste filament like not adding support, having models fail due to poor orientation etc. 1kg.will get you many prints, but soon you'll need other colours, then silk ones, then rainbow… I collected more than I print.

        • Hey thanks. Can you explain why the prints may fail? Are you referring to designs that I might design myself? I would assume that something I might get off the net should 'just work'?

What do you mean by not adding support or poor orientation? As you can see I'm a noob.

          • +1

@bboz: When I first started printing I accidentally printed files on the orientation they were saved as. For example I wanted to print a square-ish bonsai pot but it was on its side. This was not the best orientation as it required a long bridge for the side wall. Another example is not using supports for overhangs, or not using brims for bases of small supports (some of these terms you may not be familiar with but you will soon learn) 😊

I was just about to ask you about your printer 😂 this answered my question

  • Yellow TPU seems to be missing the add to cart cutton.

    • +1

      Fixed !

  • What's the difference between matte PLA and matte PolyRange PLA? Is it just the colour range or an actual material difference?

    • Polyrange is more matter and contains pastel colours, these cost more as they cost me 2$ on top of the normal matte pla to make as they are custom colours the factory doesn’t normally sell, so I have to pay more for them.

  • I assume you mean just Sydney metro?

    • Sydney metro is definitely free, parts of Melbourne cbd can be reached.

The 20 roll option is definitely the best way though to get essentially guaranteed free shipping

      • Newcastle - Metro or Regional?

        • I am not super sure, but it seems like anything interstate the cbd is within 10km only while in sydney it allows up to 50km from the city for the same price if that makes sense

  • On a side note, are all filaments compatible with the Bambu P1S with AMS.

I've read that Fluro is not good. ABS requires a hotter setting.

I have 8 rolls of Black PETG from Kingroon, that I am looking at discarding. I found the quality not great, plus I had a really bad blockage with one roll, then a fresh one wouldn't feed.

    • Sidd provides Bambu profiles here https://siddament.com.au/pages/slicer-profiles

Personally I've used Kingroon, Jayo, eSUN, and filament from Siddament, I haven't had any issues but I always do calibration with any new colour or filament type.

  • Hi OP. 10 rolls added to cart. Metro Brisbane. $31.32 shipping fee. Can you help?

    • The way it works is, it checks the 10 rolls and it checks the shipping fee, if the shipping fee for the 10 rolls is over 25 it doesnt apply the discount, the best way to get free free shipping if your not in most of sydney metro and selected parts of melbourne metro is to get the 20 rolls, though after this trial run I can see I have to adjust the shipping slightly, so keep your eye out, it will be getting tweaks or from next week onwards… you can look into the flat rate postage option thats being added

Hi Sidd, any chance you can do nylon filament. Not fussed on colours, simple black or natural colour would be fine?

    • +1

I have just trialed some Nylon CF, it has gone well, Nylon and PC in just black and white is doable and I might do it on the batch that arrives April

      • +1

Thanks Sidd. Some cheap nylon would be pretty awesome!

  • do you know when will matte black in stock ? ASA or PLA

    • most likely 16th March, I wont be here during that restock, so Ill be updating the stock most likely on the 24th March
