  • This isn't an upsize or an offer for TopCashback, this is just this monthly offering. The first of each month the categories and rates change on all cashback sites. Shopback has a current upsize, as you noted, but that has nothing to do with TopCashback. When TopCashback has an upsize on Amazon, it clearly states it in the rates breakdown and the expiry is noted next to it

    • ok thanks, good to know - wasn't sure if they change monthly or quarterly as seems to have been the same all year - so basically if one's thinking of buying something towards the end of a month, then consider waiting until the next in case there's increased cashback?

      • No, not really. The category you want might drop to 0% the next month. My rule of thumb for Amazon is if it's something I need, I try to find the best deal on it and buy it. If it's something I want and has no timeline, it stays on my Wishlist until there is a decent enough cashback rate for me to consider it (it might never come).
With cashback sites, it's never wise to buy entirely based on the cashback, but none more so than with Amazon!

        • yes, sorry - i meant if 0% cashback now, then wait until next month if not urgent :)

          • @tonester: Yes, if you like. Just remember it's Amazon, so the item price could double by then, and then the potential 7% cashback leaves you worse off. Thus, the fun of Amazon.

  • I have only recently started to use TopCashback AU, and am finding a higher number of purchases that are not tracking.
I have manually lodged claims for those, and am hoping they will be accepted, but it looks like there is a wait of 2 - 3 months to find out.

    • +2

i've only had a few not track, all with the same store (not Amazon) - unlike others, lodging claims just requires order numbers - most have been resolved in 3-5 weeks, with cashback received

    • Tracking is terrible. Been waiting two months for pizza hut to track

  • My last 3 Amazon orders haven't tracked after about a week, seems far less reliable than the competition.

  • Top Csshback haven't come through with any cashbacks yet. Pending from November. Not reliable
