90 Points JH - Aged for 12–14 months in seasoned oak hogsheads. Characters of ripe blood plums, macerated summer berry fruits and cranberry on a base of spice, dark chocolate, licorice and earth. Medium bodied with a fresh line of acidity, gentle tannin and a medium-length finish with plenty of spicy, black-fruited enjoyment. There is good value here.
