  • What is the benefit of the Phillips over the AOC?

AOC U34G3X has 144Hz max, 1ms response, Freesync etc etc.
I'm considering getting at UMart for $349 with cheap regional shipping as I am in North QLD.

    • Probably not much benefit other than brand preference for people the AOC is better for gaming. I would consider if you'd want a curved 34 inch though as the AOC is also not curved, it's cheap at $349 but it's common for other models to go on sale for $399.

  • Hope they still have lightsensor function. It was quite useful especially in night time with 345B1.

  • I was a bit confused whether it was VA or IPS, because Comp Alliance have VA in the description & title, but in the details, they've copied an image from Philips that talks about IPS LED. So, here's the page on Philips website: https://www.philips.com.au/c-p/345E2LE_75/monitor-ultrawide-…. It's definitely VA, showing a 178deg field of view.
