V Cart with 2 Baskets - $278.10 Delivered @ Seton

80

Recently I’ve been purchasing groceries from local markets as opposed to Woolies/Coles and found myself lacking a trolley solution. Noticed some people had these and of course came home and went searching.

I realise it’s a fairly expensive solution but after extensively searching I couldn’t find any cheaper alternatives with similar functionality.

This product used to be called X-Cart and has been cheaper in the past, but I’ve been tracking prices for a while and haven’t observed any decent deals since.

And yes I would use a Coles/Woolies/Aldi trolley if there was one near the market, but there isn’t.

Note if you go for the single basket version you then need to pay for shipping unless you find and add something cheap to get over the $249 free shipping threshold. They do sell things like bandages etc which can get you there.

Given how much I save by not shopping at the majors, this will pay itself off in no time

The trolley idea is slightly different, but I think the mix and match option is rather more versatile as you can use the trolley for many other tasks. Looks like it folds a lot smaller too so it's handy for leaving in your car boot.

    • Legendary solution compared to this literally insane deal.

  • Yo, I use those big blue Ikea bags everywhere I go. They fit heaps.

  • a foldable laundry trolley with a seperate hard plastic basket will do the trick. this solution is just overpriced for what it is

    • Aint no one pushing a luandry basket at a farmers market lol

  • I bought one a few months ago.
    - moved home very easily (I had a lot of medium boxes)
    - shopping for groceries is a breeze. Put produce in basket. Load basket in car. Get home. Basket back on cart. Push right up to the fridge/pantry and unload.

Sure there are other cheaper options. But this cart does everything I expected from it and is super sturdy.

Is it niche? Yes. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it making my life a lot easier? Yes. Will I use it for years to come? Yes.
    Is it for everyone? No.

Btw you don’t have to use the top shelf it can be folded so tall items can be transported too. Of course still a bit narrow for big big boxes …..

    • Yes it is expensive, I had one last work abused try to kill it with rest of the work colleagues. but keeps coming back more. So value money yes……

    • Great to hear your feedback. Pretty much mirrors my use cases as I'll also be moving house next year.
