Noblechairs Epic V Gaming Chair $396 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Officeworks

70

Was looking for a new office / gaming chair and came across this clearance deal at Officeworks. Got one with free collect at local officeworks store. Seemed to be the cheapest on the market from the Noblechairs Epic range. Have built it and its big and comfortable. Can't say how long it will last but so far so good.

That is way too much to pay for an Officeworks chair.

They seem to be overhauling their range a little bit and having more decent ones mixed in with the pure trash. Just my observation.

      • and having more decent ones mixed in with the pure trash.

They need to have a better labelling system so people can identify good chairs from rubbish…

    • You’re way too much

  • Can't say how long it will last

From experience, they only last about 12 months…

My Noblechair hero I bought second hand in 2018 is still going strong although it's the leather version so I can't speak for the faux leather.

Same, I got the leather version around 2016-2017 and it's still pretty much perfect.

        • Are your cushions still hard as a rock? Cause mine sure are…

  • Wow so even though for noblechairs, the quality is also that bad and only last for a year?

  • Manufacturer's Warranty: 12 month

I bought a noble chair icon in nov 2020

And the pu leather underneath my knees/where my legs hang over is cracked and sharp.

Didn't last long at all tbh. So I've since bought some padding and leather to put over it.

  • this or HM embody gaming chair?

I bought a Noblechairs Epic in 2017 and another for my partner in 2018, both are going strong and mine has had a lot of use. The armrest padding on mine has crumpled (it’s a plastic foam) but it doesn’t bother me and they are available as a spare part.

Coincidentally I bought it to get away from the crappy OW chairs that would disintegrate in 18 months, no complaints.

Assuming the current model is of similar quality to the older ones (no idea) I would recommend if you’re looking for a gaming style chair. If I was doing it again however I would also seriously look at more ergo/mesh options.

  • How much is this usually?

  • Please dont by PU leather gaming or office chairs.
