  • How have people gone getting larger batteries on to planes? I'm about to fly and would love something better with QC and >5w.

This by far has got to be the best product shot of a powerbank I've seen.

    • Looks like it's fully charged.

      • Yep and left her quite satisfied to say the least.

        • +1

She must be content with all that 5.3" of a powerbank

what's with the dog paw emblem? Genuinely curious.

    • +13

      probably because inu. in japanese
In fact, a dog is known as man's companion all over the world. Many native speakers say “inu” (犬) to mean 'dog' in Japanese. This word is probably familiar to many Japanese learners since it is often used in Japanese movies, novels, and other media. The most common phrase to say dog in Japanese is “inu” (犬).

Thank you! I have learned something new today.

        • +1

also from a practical level it shows the state of charge of the powerbank.

    Where is the 30% coupon

    • I can't see it either so it must have expired

  • No 30% coupon

  • Weird how there seems to be no indicator to say how much charge is left on the bank

    • +3

It does. The Paw is the indicator.

Haha thats so goofy. I cant see them showing how that works in the photos on the amazon page.

        • It is goofy. It's actually a bit hard to read in a well lit room.

i have this smaller one but seems mine outputs more watt (20 for the c port, this bigger one is 18)

Got the same, smaller 10000mAh. model you linked to. Although I do have large and powerful

powerbanks for laptops etc., for general mobile phone emergency back up I prefer these smaller, thinner and

lighter 10000mAh form factors as usually that's all you need.

Your smaller one (BI-B6) is a newer model, and is the 10k version of the 20k BI-B5 which is $50.

The deal one is the older BI-B42, which is 20K, 18W (9V, 2A, or 12V 1.5A). The smaller 10k version is the BI-B41, which is 5V, 3A (no PD) and 15W.

Your one (BI-B6) is excellent and does up to 22W from the USB port in PPS mode, 11V, 2A. It depends on your device as to whether it will take advantage of that.

Over USB-C, a lot of stuff will use 9V, 2.22A. So up to 20W.

The full 22.25W is at 5V, where it can output 4.5A. (Or 4.5V, 5A). Not as many devices will use this.

      • ah no wonder ok lucky didnt buy. i like the idea of having double but not the old one and the new one 20k $50 is too much

        • +1

To be fair, the deal model (B42) is excellent for the $21.12.

No percentage battery capacity display, but 18W PD does solid fast charging for most phones and most won't take advantage of the slightly faster 20W model, or PPS to 22W.

      • Any comments on differences between the BI-B61 and the BI-B6? I'm interested in the former but can't understand how its so much heavier despite being smaller.

        • +1

I suspect it's an Amazon typo. The INIU website says the BI-B61 is 195 grams.

The B61 is actually slightly larger in terms of volume. It's shorter and not quite as wide but thicker.

I'd buy whichever you prefer, as in operation they will be pretty much the same.

          • @Prong: Thanks. I ended up getting the BI-B61 for just under $21.50 (using the 40% promo code and discounted gift card). Not a bad price.

Curiously the unit I got is 203g. Not as heavy as the mistyped Amazon weight but still above the official spec.

            • @ddhar: Good deal!

And yeah interesting about the weight. I have the B6 and it is 212g measured, vs 210g official.

  • What was the stock level ?

  • i keep missing out on these deals :(

    • +1

the INIU deals are almost click bait like - and should probably go in the Insufficient Quantity deals post.
