    Surprised no one posted this, It's cheapest one I've seen, clear out to make way for the new Super series which for the 4080s is expected to start at $1,870 for maybe 5% more performance at best (expected) but reckon most to cost 2k+ when they drop so up to you if you think this is worth it, I would get this one personally if I wanted something in the class tier.

    If there ever was a time to buy this overpriced GPU it would have been 8 months ago for $1499 with free Diablo IV, ability to use eBay discounted gift cards, no surcharge, and from Computer Alliance who have been considerably less dodgy compared to CentreCom in my experience. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/776847

    The AUD was buying 0.65 USD at the time of that deal which is pretty much a wash with today (0.66 USD) in addition

      I think it's a good buy if you're looking for a 4080 right now.

      Cheapest ever was $1499 with free Diablo. But that was way back in June and only happened once since then and with ebay 22% discount (where most retailers jack up their prices)

      Btw, did the admin actually put a number in the quantity and try add to cart to check for available stock?

        I remember there being over 18 in stock when I came across that deal.

        I would not feel good paying more for less 8 months later (with the AUD no weaker than it was during that prior deal). Particularly for a generation so panned for its poor value (apart from the 4090 at launch) as we move ever closer to Blackwell 5000 series GPUs in less than 1 year

      You won't find stock. I had this issue last time when purchasing online. They SKU and product number had been updated and Repco have only received the newer stock. Same product and all, just different code.

          Linda Jewellers has price beaten (not matched) Star Buy for me in the past, so that's worth a go. Plus they have a physical store in Sydney which was a big plus for me, and fitted the watch band for me on pick up for free.

      I've had this watch for a few years now (from Starbuy) and it is one of my favourites. :-)

      One more fugly watch to add to the many many cheap and nasty collection pile that people already have. If you're already buying a cheaper Japanese brand, you shouldn't really buy at the bottom with 4r movements cause that power reserve is shockingly bad. Seiko has some decent Sharp Edge GMT if that is your thing. If you're want to spend similar, Presage auto GMT at least looks better.

      I did buy the 23K in steel. No stock in SE QLD but shipped for free.
      Put it on AfterPay. Didn’t realise that for purchases over $500 they take the first instalment straight away even if you're Mint or higher.
      Edit: SB just tracked but only at $43.72. Looks like 9.5% of $506.25 less GST. Will have to follow up.

          Alienware is 240 hz and a gamin monitor, wouldnt want a tv on my computer desk

            @Yorkshire-Man: I would personally use it but would be way too big for a desk, would have to have it sit on a table and use that as a desk and make sure it was a fair decent bit away, my desk was probably normal size in terms of width and I had to sit a 32" at the very back and I was probably realistically still sitting too close. But I agree much better value and I actually am personally looking at one of those as an option in future to use as both monitors and TV.
