  • I only get a voucher discount of $77.88 for the second code, bringing iPhjone 15 128GB to $1220.12

NM, just saw the edit with the FEBSAVE code, that does it.

The Pro-Max are listed as refurbished….

    Will OW price match?

    • +1

They won't consider the after code price

      • Shame.. one of the store managers even refused to match telstra despite calling the store and confirming it is outright discount with no plan..

        • +2

:( why, what was their excuse if you'd met all their price beat criteria?

          • +2

@tonester: Not OP but I had a similar experience this morning. OW staff confirmed with Telstra retail via phone that it was available outright on the spot. OW staff genuinely looked like he was about to give the green light, said he wanted to double check, made a call to someone, then came back and said he was informed that some Telstra stores are selling it outright and unlocked against their own rules, therefore they can't pricematch it. I didn't know how else to argue against that so I left.

Thankfully I still got a pretty good price with JB + giftcards after the Costco deal came out a few hours later.

              @nineteentales:

he was informed that some Telstra stores are selling it outright and unlocked against their own rules

ridiculous given that their website states that outright is available, that afaik nobody has sold locked iPhones for years, let alone when outright as opposed to prepaid - wonder who informed him? :(

            • @nineteentales: What deal you got from JB please ? They refused me to price match with Costco!!

              • @MyLoginName: jb won’t price match costco due to paid membership requirement, but will with telstra

                • @tonester: They said no for Telstra too - the online chat guy said for Telstra you need an active service so we can’t match it.

                  • +1
                    • @tonester: Is the Telstra deal the same price as this? Just wondering if there's a reason to try get it thru Telstra rather than these guys (besides having brick and mortar stores to walk-in if something goes wrong)

            • @nineteentales: I think OW have to price beat by 5% with Costco so it would $1188 which is not bad

  • Are they authorised resellers?

  • +6

Save yourself trouble and go to Telstra if they have them instore

    • can I buy even if I'm not a Testra service customer?

  • +1

    Are they Australian stock?

    • +3

Techciti is part of Mobileciti and Aaron only sells Aussie stock (unless it’s like the Steam Deck)

Mobileciti burnt me years ago with 'refurbished' iPhones that I bought for my parents, so they'll never see another dollar from me. The batteries were stuffed after six months and had little use before that. Said no to a replacement on both.

        • I've been using an iPhone XS since 2018 that I purchased from Mobileciti.

          • @Griffindinho: I imagine refurbs are hit and miss - I'm just ticked off that there was a flat no to both.

            • +2

@Big L: Re iphone 15 pro max … Yeah, was just looking at the refurbs. What if they have a generic battery replacement without health status like the OEM, or replacement screen or replacement parts… May as well save a bit longer and buy brand new…

In that case, 2199 less 300 is say 1899 from Telstra if they do indeed let us buy outright? Vs 1672 which is $200 cheaper but who knows what is wrong with them …

  • Can I pay nothing for this phone… Wait wrong thread

Could be grey stock. Mate bought one off ebay different seller wont name. turned it on first time was in asian language apparently

    • +5

When you turn it on, it says hello in multiple languages, then it asks you what language you want. Stock code tells you what country its from

  • Anyone tried at OW to price beat Costco??
