      Guess what I was wearing when I gouged a cut across the top of my foot with an angle grinder? Crocs. OK, knock of KMart Crocs. Perhaps I'd have been fine with the proper ones. Either way, never think "Damn, forgot to cut that bit. It's only one cut, I'll be fine."
