Honestly there are some games which could be exactly what they need to be and still get a crap review.
A lot of people don't realize but this is a remake of a cult hit game on pc. This version tried to PC stuff up and made some weird changes but for what it is it's still pretty damn fun.
Only real issue with it is no mouse support.
Eh having loved the original, this one was a big miss for me.
The original didn't get mixed reviews, it got glowing reviews and I would recommend everyone just play that, it's still sold on Steam and happens to be $10.
Much better use of your money, despite the graphics. And you can't beat the original narration, it's a major part of the game.
If you only have consoles, there's probably $10 of value in this "remake" but it is firmly average and hasn't much in the way of good game design and the tasks become laborious pretty quickly.
